Told me at my initial visit that I have zero copayment with my insurance for both general and mental health. Never sent a single statement to my address or email. After every visit I would ask at the front, "what is my copayment for today's visit?" And they would say I don't owe anything, my insurance pays for everything. Now almost a year later I go to schedule another follow up visit and I'm told I can't schedule because I have an outstanding balance of 800 dollars. Do not trust anything this office says is what I'm learning because they will bait and switch and never say anything until you've racked up a big bill. This is insurance waste and fraud. Not to mention the staff is horrendously incompetent. Was told when i scheduled my first visit that I'll be seeing an MD and he turned out to be a Nurse practitioner. Got stabbed in the arm as they tried to take my blood for almost an hour until they decided to send me to quest and they did it in 1 minute. The nurse practitioner won't let me ask any questions. At my last visit I felt like I had a bruised or fractured rib and he waved me off and walked out when I tried to address it with him

Worst doctors office I've ever been to. Front desk staff has no idea what they're talking about. Very unimpressed with the NP I saw he didn't seem to care at all and was yawning when I was explaining my situation. Never sent my prescription to the pharmacy so I had to wait almost a week for them to get back to me to resolve that. Was supposed to get a referral but nobody ever called me. Zero stars

I have had bad interactions with physicians from Samuel Merritt University that's why I am skeptical of them but Dr. Stacy Berrong was the best I miss him a lot too bad he's not taking new patients

Dr. Kim is amazing the best dental experience. Staff are always kind and very helpful they always explain everything and make sure you get the proper care. I've been with them since 2020. I came in with not much dental experience because I was so afraid of the dentist. They are very good at making sure your comfortable before any procedure. They accept medical as well
