Similar to another reviewer, I have a history of sinus infections (about one per year). I have been a patient at this clinic for several years and have never had a dissatisfying experience—until now.

I visited the clinic for a sinus infection and met with an NP. I received some good advice and was prescribed antibiotics. However, the antibiotics did not work, and I was told I had to return for a second visit. I am not sure why this was necessary, as the NP had already diagnosed me with a sinus infection. This additional visit ended up costing me more money. In the past, I was able to request a different antibiotic via phone or message without needing to return to the clinic.

At my second visit, I met with a physician who recommended Augmentin. I explained that Augmentin does not work for me based on my past history and requested a different antibiotic. I was then prescribed a stronger antibiotic, which also did not work—unsurprisingly, since I had taken it before with no success. Ironically, despite repeatedly being told by different providers at this clinic that this particular antibiotic was ā€œtoo strongā€ for sinus infections, they still prescribed it to me. At this point, I was growing frustrated, and my symptoms only worsened.

At my third visit, I hoped that, given my history and previous failed treatments, I would finally be prescribed something more suitable. Instead, I was prescribed Augmentin again, despite clearly stating that it does NOT work for me. I gave it a try because nothing else was being done, and, as expected, it was ineffective. It has now been a month, and I am still suffering from a sinus infection.

Since then, I have developed a fever with chills and noticed blood in my mucus. Yet, I was told I would have to wait more than a week to see a PA from the ENT department, with no new antibiotics in the meantime. So, I guess I just have to endure it and hope for the best.

After this entire experience, I feel unheard, uncared for as a patient, and left in a worse condition than when I started. The emotional toll has been significant. I would strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

PS: The nurses and receptionists here are wonderful—kind and professional. My review is not a reflection on them, but rather on the level of care I received from the medical providers.

I am a 56 year old man with 20 plus years as patient. With an extensive history of the sinus infections (4 to 6 times a year), in order to get treatment I would have to lie and say I have been sick for a week. I was told to wait in pain for 7 to 10 days then I will treat you. When I explain my history the PA said don’t tell me my job. I was always told not to lie to your doctor. Wrong... Medical attention is don’t be well, get worse-and I will treat you. I walked out and I went to another location and was given what I needed and 24 hours I feel great. Thank you Doctor from another location. Your amazing because you listened and you’re not part of the paint by numbers art of medicine. If you want that I would go to Hobby Lobby. It’s the Art of medicine not science. I was told it could be viral but we can’t test for that, so the truth it is a just a guess. Finally respect for a patient to whom has had 120 sinus infections and knows what works.

To add to this ineffectiveness of this location, 3 years ago I was told to come back in 10 days for an infectious disease doctor. Seven hours later I took matters into my own hands went to the ER and was immediately put in isolation for 7 days at NWCH with a 50/50 chance of walking out alive. I made a will. What the hell..MERSA was throughout my body and luckily not in my heart. If I waited and came back in week I might be dead… This is not care it’s incompetence. Sad and shameful. I will never return to this location because my life depends on it. All factual information and not opinion.

Walk in clinic at 1051 Rand Rd:

Arrived around 4:50 and was told they were done for the day. Please don’t say ā€œopen until 5:00ā€ and then decide that you’ll be done for the day before then. People make an effort to be there before 5:00!

I called to ask questions about Dr Abraham because my sister's doctor has left the practice. My sister had experienced a mild seizure a couple of days ago. I had questions plus I wanted some recommendations. The person that answered stopped me and said no appointments until next May. Literally all she said, she stayed quite and I just hung. Really rude and no empathy! She sounded sleepy, I must have interrupted her nap.

It's a shame that the staff can't have the same understanding that they expect from a Patient. If issue happenes and you get left in room wanting to see doctor for 1hr past your appointment time they tell you sorry for delay. But if you are late 15-20mins your told they can't help try again another time. Especially when you have to go get blood work first so they know if you have to change your medicine levels. So I guess they would rather have you on the wrong levels of medicine which could do you harm them work with you on a plan to get you in sooner then 1 moth later.

The staff is so rude and so unprofessional I swear! I took my mom in for a dermatology appointment today. We had an appointment that we were late to due to traffic ofcourse. Get there and the receptionist tells me we will have to wait a whole hour to meet with the doctor. I was so mad, she took us in late, the medical assistant was slow, and the dermatologist took her time like nothing to come in and check my mom! The doctors literally know nothing. They don’t help. Period. I would not recommend to go here. They don’t care. AT ALL.
