My provider Patricia Sheppard is amazing so the next thing I’m about to say has nothing to do with her.

I am on zepbound for weightloss. I called this office the 1st of the year to tell them I was going to be out of my medecine in 2 weeks and they needed to do a pre authorization so I can get approved. They assured me over and over they did. Well according to my insurance they didn’t start the process until the 13th. 2 weeks after I called and told them I was going to be out of my medecine. They never called my insurance like they stated and here I am no more medecine and my shot day is tomorrow … nothing approved. Unfortunately (because I love my provider) … this is going to make me leave. The incompetence of the office staff and careless attitude she had with me when SHE DROPPED THE BALL AND LIED has me ENRAGED

I have had a primary Doctor at this location since they opened. My original Doctor left, so I was moved to a new Doctor at this location. I have had 2 neck surgeries and started having pain in my back and neck again. Scheduled a visit and the Doctor placed his hand on top of my head and proceed to hit his hand that was on my head with his hand. Obviously causing more pain. I left and got a new primary at a different organization. Saw my new primary and was referred to a neurosurgeon where we found out that I have 2 bulging discs in my neck and a couple more in my upper back. No X-rays or MRI were ever ordered from Northwest. The northwest Doctor told me that the pain I was having had nothing to do with my neck or back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They’ll see you quick, take your insurance, take your copay, text you about missing payments without telling you what they are for (most likely not running your insurance, which I’ve had an issue with this every single visit with them), then put you on collections. The care is good, but their billing practices are absolutely not ok.

They didn’t actually add my insurance to my file and I never got a bill. It went to my wife’s account and rather than calling either of us they sold it to a debt collector who tracked us down. Patricia Shepperd is great but the staff up front taking information did a horrendous job. I thought it might just be me but looking at the reviews I’d steer clear of these guys and go to a more competent clinic.

Like other reviewers have reported, these facilities have unscrupulous billing practices. I am still disputing a bill from last September. They won’t honor the agreed upon network rate with my insurance company and have tried to gouge me for more than double. They have made up invoices just to placate me so I’ll go away, but I’m not going to allow them to do it. I urge any patient to request a price list for common services, if they accept Medicare it is required to provide this for transparency. People are sick of being overcharged! Just because something isn’t covered by an insurance policy doesn’t mean the doctor’s office changes the agreed upon price! Protect yourself and get all the information and pricing while you’re there.

I had my first visit with Dr. Kuar today, she was AMAZING. I've never had a doctor as young as her, but she quickly proved that age doesn't matter as much as knowledge and listening. I am not a patient for a lesser doctor, I have many health issues, and I've never had a doctor handle it as professionally as her the first time around. I have found my doctor for life.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. The billing department is not just a mess, but very unprofessional and rude. My husband and I went into the clinic to get our physicals done which should be covered under preventative care. However we received a bill for over $200. Called the insurance company and was informed that some of the work done was coded incorrectly, and we need to talk to the clinic to have them resubmit the claims with correct codes. Also, during my session I asked Dr. Levoy for a referral to a specialist. He said he needed to take a look at me. It turned out to be a diagnostic, and I was billed $133 for it. I've been trying to talk to someone who is in charge since November 2022 and after multiple messages and phone calls finally someone named Chris reached back out to me. Probably only because I informed the lady who took my message regarding my insurance ending in one week. Instead of being apologetic she used a very condescending and at times sarcastic tone with me. She insisted that the codes were submitted correctly and regarding the dispute on the "diagnostic", she asked me "so the doctor looked at you without your consent"? with a little chuckle... She also insisted that she called us back but failed to get in touch with us and she had records of that. I told her I had no missed calls and no voicemail from her. My husband received messages on the patient portal regarding issues under his account, but not mine. She said " well, then you need to talk to your husband about it, I already reached back out" I told her he even messaged her back inquiring about my billing issues, and he got a response telling me to check under my own patient portal for updates. I had no updates whatsoever. There are so many inconsistencies between what she claimed vs what she did. I have records of our interactions as proof as well on the patient portal. This place is beyond poorly managed. I understand the medical system could be complicated and I worked with billing departments from multiple clinics in the past, and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. In fact, I still cannot believe that conversation with Chris happened.
I came here to leave a review about my poor experience and realized that this place has such low ratings and majority of them were because of the billing issues. I understand there can be a lot of back and forth with billings, however at least treat your patients and respect, and get back to your patients in a timely manner. They failed all of that.
I wish I can give them 0 stars. I am more disturbed by the unprofessionalism of Chris than the actual bill.

Established care with Gage Lankford here. The location is well laid out and Gage is top notch. He was friendly, engaged me as a person and got the information he needed in friendly conversation. He listened to *me*, not just the facts I said that fit his questionnaire, did a thorough job, and made sure his documentation fit what I intended to say.

Couldn't be happier with my appointment or Gage. The staff were knowledgeable about my coverage and they're even able to see what drugs are covered and the predicted copay before you leave. Fantastic.
