I am happy to share my review of Northwest Wellness Group in Arlington Hts. After surgery for a pelvic floor prolapse, I was advised by my surgeon to have physical therapy. I was lucky to select Northwest Wellness Group in Arlington Hts for my therapy. Every aspect of my experience was great! Nordeen and Dawn were most friendly and helpful scheduling my appointments and guiding me with filling out forms. My physical therapist was Dr. Deanna Jones. She is amazing! Deanna is most knowledgeable and reassuring. Deanna is very patient and a good listener. She taught me exercises to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles and strategies to manage associated bowel and bladder problems. Often, I asked Deanna about other body discomfort I was experiencing and she always had helpful advice to offer. I told her that she knows “all!” It’s true!

My experience with Northwest Wellness Group was great! From the reception staff who were so kind and eager to help me get scheduled sooner than they initially had available. They were always so welcoming when I would come for my appointments. Then Dr. Deanna Jones was so knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. She always had a solution for any ailment I brought to her every appointment. She was so easy to talk with and normalized all of my concerns. I highly recommend this group!

I was referred to Northwest Wellness Group following surgery. I really wasn't sure what pelvic floor therapy would entail and if it could help in my recovery. So I called and I will tell you that I'm glad I made that call. From my first call, speaking with Nordeen, who after listening to why I was calling, told me she had the perfect physical therapist to work with me. Nordeen was absolutely correct that Dr. Karla was the perfect therapist for me. Dr. Karla is a therapist that truly listens & hears what you are saying. You can tell that she cares & is concerned about you as a person. She wants you to get stronger & be healthy. Dr. Karla has a very common sense approach to her therapy. Her explanations regarding your therapy & the exercises she prescribes for you are very easy to understand & follow. Believe me those exercises really do work. From the moment you walk into this practice, you are warmly welcomed by Nordeen or Dawn, the office staff. If you are having pelvic floor issues, I highly recommend Northwest Wellness Group. The doctors and office staff truly care about you.

Hi I am Ken S . Dr Karla was very helpful in dealing with my pelvic pain. Until I started going to see them at Northwest Group, no could really tell me what was wrong or how to treat it. I had been to two pain specialists 3 urologist, two internist and 4 ER visits. A friend referred me to the group. I have been suffering from pelvic pain for two year, I am so happy, we found Karla Wente. My pain was so severe I felt like I had no more hope. I had been to another PT that specialized in pelvic floor and got no relief. Karla worked with my husband and I with exercises that I could do at home. Karla made suggestions that worked! Karla was so professional in maintaining a comfortable, modest experience while working on the problem.
I can say after all our sessions and the tools she gave me to help with any pain, I feel so blessed we found her through the recommendation of my uro gyne. Karla has a wonderful personality and puts the patient at ease. She engaged my husband always when we discussed what procedures she did on me and the tools I could use at home. It is hard to say goodbye but I know if things ever get worse I can always come back. Thank you to Nordene and Dawn they always had a smile when we came into the office. The whole experience was something I can say was so positive, from the day I walked in thinking I had no hope to the day I walked out feeling so much better and with lots of hope!

I started at Northwest Wellness Group when I followed my therapist, Maureen, from her previous employer. My doctor recommended her for pelvic floor issues that caused lower back pain with everyday activity.
I truly feel her treatment enabled me to live my life again. She taught me exercises and ways to help myself when I do have pain. She made it easy to discuss issues that I hadn't spoken of before. She readily shares her knowledge and has improved my overall health. I have knee issues and she is helping with those also. She has saved me from a sedentary life!!
Everyone at this office is a pleasure to work with. Nordene and Dawn are amazing at contacting me when there is a cancellation that I can fill. I am grateful that my doctor recommended Maureen.
