Engaging and informative course in which I learn various self-help techniques to contribute towards wellbeing and good mental health. Learn also about the different types of mental health conditions and how they can be treated in a clinical setting. A big thank you to Gemi, many things became clearer and it also helped me to define my own tasks and directions for the future.

To whom it may concern, I at one point was very excited about Nourish the Brain institute until I did some research! I basically told my counselor at the time that I was not interested in moving forward with the program but that my counselor (Lorena Videla) who now works for NTBI, said she would cancel the request for payment from my insurance company but unbeknownst to my knowledge, she didn’t do as I asked and went ahead and sent the request for payment and actually received it from my insurance! She most likely received a commission from the amount she asked for unlawfully and without my authorization! I was sent an email from my new counselor telling me she didn’t work with the counseling company any longer and that she illegally obtained the money from my school voucher without my consent! So it’s been 3 times now that my counselor and I had to cancel the check and send it certified this time because the insurance company keeps telling us that they haven’t received it still! And of course NTBI is not responding to the emails and phone calls, they’re basically stalling and giving excuses and sitting on over 2k for the program I told Lorena Videla to cancel! This has set me back and has caused me to be under a lot of stress, undo duress, frustration, etc. I filed the complaint to Sacramento and I also have an attorney to help if the first group finds this isn’t in their jurisdiction to help! I’m not the only one this company has duped for financial greed and gain but there’s no doubt about me not fighting for my rights and exposing this company for what they are, and that’s being fraudulent and misleading which is disgusting, disgraceful, and what comes around goes around! It’s definitely a shame they are still operating in the capacity they are after what they have done to me and others that trusted them whole heartedly! And Gemi who I believe is the founder of this organization, she should be ashamed of herself and her staff for what they are doing and have done in the past and present! Integrity is key in this situation I still face and doing the right things no matter what the cost is to them, is only the cost 💲 that matters to their pocket books or bank account! Whoever reads this do yourself a favor, don’t believe the hype and don’t let the “smooth taste fool you”! Always do your research before making any decisions especially with NTBI!! No joke…

This is a one of a kind experience, working with Gemi. She has a really great range of products and services as well, so it's easy to start with some basic learning and see where it takes you!
At Nourish the Brain you will learn how to make small and simple changes to your lifestyle and behaviors. I learned that eating better isn't about denying or restricting myself from food and drink that I love, but adding in new and delicious modifications, and truly noticing what I am putting into my meals.
