When I arrived the receptionist wasn’t welcoming. There were 3 females sitting chatting. As my son and I entered the exam room, we were greeted by a MA who was some what friendly and professional. When the provider walked inside the room, she greeted my son and proceeded to talk with him. I had to greet her and inform her I’m aware of him being at the age where he can talk with a provider hisself. But it would have been nice if she didn’t act as if I were a picture and she didn’t see me. Customer service 3/5 and I’m being generous with that 3. Don’t waste your time going here. Urgent Care is be best and I stand by that.

I would not give then 1star, but I had no choice. My daughter received her work physical from the Two Notch location. It was signed by an NP. She needed it to be signed by an MD. When I called and explained the clerk put me on the phone with the NP. The NP was rude like I had offended her. She said we would have to come in and get another physical and that for every location I needed to give a physical to, I had to come get a new physical and pay another fee. My daughter needs physicals for work and cheer in college. Am I suppose to pay for the same services 2x? The NP said yes because they are a private practice. I have went to this office for decades to get my children’s physicals for school, but since they have changed to Novant it has been a disaster!
They also have her a TB test & told her to come back in a certain time frame to have it read, but the time frame they gave was during the hours their office was closed and we had to go to another facility to have it read and pay another fee!!! Disaster!! This is a Tragic way to handle care for people who gave been long time members of the facility…the takeover was a mistake! Where is Dr. Fredrickson!!!

I don’t even want to leave a star. I will never go back here and I would never refer them to anybody. Just go to urgent care or the hospital, or if you have throat pain just go to the ENT. These people only know how to test for strep throat and that’s it. I came here twice in one week. First time I told them out my mouth, not knowing what was in the back of my throat fr that I had white sore on the back of my throat. It’s like they took the word “sore” and ran with it saying it’s a canker sore. They prescribed me magic mouthwash which cost me $80 out of pocket! 3 days later I can’t swallow, not eating, still feeling weak with body aches and by this time my whole right tonsil was completely white and the bump or whatever that was on the back of my throat was growing and now white spots are popping up on the left side. I went back to this place and the nurse practitioner or whoever brushed all my symptoms off and said “you wanted it to feel better 3 days ago, it takes time. Keep using the magic mouthwash” I even asked her could it be anything else like oral thrush or tonsillitis. I did research and was having a lot of the symptoms of tonsillitis. She didn’t even gave it a thought. I cried on the way home. Fast forward 2 days later, I made an appointment at the ENT because now I done went 3 days without eating except for sipping on protein drinks and white spots are showing up everyday with more and more pain. ENT looked in my throat for 2 SECONDS and said you have a major case of tonsillitis and need to start taking antibiotics immediately! At this point hire new nurses or something because it’s no way I did the research and was like it could be this and they still diagnosed me with the wrong shit. The second time I came back, EVEN THE FRONT DESK LADY SAID THEY SHOULD REFER YOU TO AN ENT but nope I left with no referral, no true diagnosis, and more pain.

The receptionist is rude, unprofessional, and uninformative. When asked questions she didn't know the answers and did not care to find the information. PEBA needs to find a new provider for state employee wellness checks.

We had brought our son in on Tuesday with a fever and bad cough because he had been around someone that was very sick with what turned out to be pneumonia. We were hoping to get some help before it got any worse. The doctor gave him cough meds and said to come back in if the fever didn’t break or he didn’t improve. By Friday he was much worse with a fever of 104 so we scheduled a visit and when we came in the receptionist said the doctor was refusing to see him because he had been seen this week and he just needed to be taken care of at home. I was so frustrated and angry. A child with a 104 fever for multiple days is so dangerous! The refusal to see him is inexcusable! We will never go back here and have encouraged many others to stay away!

Great experience was seen in a timely manner. Staff was very pleasant and professional and I even received a call back to check on me to make sure I was recovering well. I would highly recommend this location!

Tricare holders be warned! While this place is considered in-network for Tricare Prime holders a tele-health appointment is not covered even though the front desk will tell you it is. I didn’t want to bring my daughter into an office in the middle of flu/Covid season for pink eye and the receptionist advised I could just do a tele-health appointment from the comfort of my home. So while insurance covered $69 of my bill I now owe $90 because their coding doesn’t allow for the visit to be coded as a urgent care visit via Telehealth but just as virtual-health standard doctors appointment. But the bigger issue here is this seems intentional as Tricare prime holders are then forced to pay more money than Tricare allows on their end had it been coded as a virtual health urgent care visit. Just another loop hole in the system for these companies to collect more money.

I hate giving 1 star but doctor's care LACK of care for me led me to being way sicker and having to call out of work, which led me to losing money.
I went to doctors care last week for congestion symptoms, fatigue, and nausea. I was indirectly scoffed at by the staff for "not being sick enough". I was told that I had the best nose they'd seen all day, they gave me a hard time about getting a doctors note and then prescribed me over the counter medication. I understand people are WAY sicker than me right now with flu season. I took the over the counter medication and within a week, I had come down with a fever and chills and shortness of breath. I went to UrgentCare in Spring Valley and the level of care I received there had my jaw dropping. I felt cared about, listened to and validated by the doctor that came to see me. I now have to take a few days off work to take care of an illness that could have been prevented in the first place if someone had just listened and believed me. I understand medical staff is tired and working too many hours. But this is just your heads up to go to urgent care instead.
