She offers valuable insight into everyday feelings and tailors the experience to what is most effective for you. She also does not force topic and conversations that you are not ready to speak for but will still offer the help and ways to work through it.

I have been seeing Dr. Lopez at Oak Health since June 2024. I started after leaving a treatment center for the sixth time. Each time I was in rehab more and more meds kept being added, some to counteract unwanted side effects of meds I was already on. The usual suspects, for depression, anxiety, sleep, addiction, nightmares etc. My first appointment with Dr. Lopez we talked about eventually tapering down/off some of them. I was scared, but I was ready to be healthy, sober, clean, have a fulfilling life again and end my cycle of addictions.

Now nine months later, we have safely eliminated many meds and I’ve never felt better! NEVER! Dr. Lopez never pushed, we made the decisions together. He also gave me tangible things to work on to better my life and progress. He is kind, smart, compassionate, caring, knows deeply about addiction medicine and co occurring conditions.
I’ve seen many many psychiatrists and Dr. Lopez is one of a kind… in a wonderful way!

If someone I cared about needed help like I did, I would definitely recommend him to them. Also, Oak Health has been great to work with.

I spent hours researching a new psychiatrist to help me and after weeks of research and calling offices to find one that accepts my insurance I found Susan Guy. I was very excited. I spent over an hour filling out their extensive intake forms. She cancelled on me saying she didn’t want to see me. So rude and unhelpful. Very disappointing. Way to not help people that need it.
