Today was my first derm appointment with Dr. Kerisit. She was phenomenal - down to earth, friendly, inviting & well informed. However, her nurse (whose name I can’t recall) was an absolute nightmare. She was extremely rude and made no effort to even be a decent human being. She pronounced my name wrong when calling me to the back, I politely corrected her, and she shrugged her shoulders. When we went into the room to begin the intake process, she could care less & really had no friendly demeanor. I wanted to make my complaint when I was there but preferred to keep it professional. Hands down worst experience I’ve ever had..and she’s not even the doctor. Sad and embarassing.

My fiancé waited 2 1/2 hours to be seen for swollen, itchy welps on his hip only for them to just tell him they don’t know what it is. Absolutely horrid.

This Urgent Care is my go to whenever I am in need of an Urgent Care and I have always had a good experience except for today. I checked in and was told I was second in line and was eventually called back. However an hour and a half later I still had not seen the doctor. I came straight from work calling first to see if I could make an appointment but was told I could not. I finally left. Some Urgent Care! I should have read the reviews first.

They’ve been helpful every time I’ve had to visit. I’ve been coming here for about two years now. Sometimes service can be a bit slow and not so “urgent”. The wait can get extremely annoying.

Although the lobby is often crowded and the wait is sometimes long, the desk will give you an accurate estimate of time to be seen. And you can make an informed choice about waiting, going somewhere else, or delaying care. Once in the back, the care was strong both times I chose to stay.

I was sent here from the Magazine location after I registered there only to be told they don't have an xray 30 min later. This place is a joke waited 2 hours and was told it will be soon and every single person was taken in front of me because reception didn't know how to work the computer and basically ended going to the ER. My formal complaint will be with Joint Commission and HSS as I was denied care and treatment.

If you want to call ahead to gauge wait time/busyness, don’t do it- you’ll only end up frustrated. The front desk won’t even give an estimate. It might be policy for them, and I can understand that. That said, I’m not sure about you, but sitting in a busy wait area while you’re unwell doesn’t sound appealing to me. Call the Urgent Care around the corner- they scheduled an appointment for within the hour via phone call. Nothing but sweet interaction and understanding.
