patient neglect and abandonment. dismissed due to supposed repeat no shows in which they canceled. chronic fatigue and tiredness with doctor aware. refused an appointment that they deemed not "urgent" during the 30 day transition period after dismissal . Paperwork was needed to complete which determines my housing situation. urgent need right? securing a new patient appointment around here is a wait upwards of 7 moths to a year. Manager who I've never met hung up in my face twice. don't waste your time with these people none of them are very intelligent and your care will be subpar and they will gaslight you about what is going on with your health.robert Caulkins gaslit me for years about their being something wrong, Jessica his daughter is only slightly better and sherri don't even bother. terrible people

I love the doctors and some of the receptionists. However, there is one who is extremely cold and unconcerned at all regarding requests. She is very abrupt and condescending. I really am sorry to have to write about this because I do feel very happy with my primary care physicians and the rest of the staff. But every time she answers I dread it. Sorry.

Changing doctors is never easy. I feel like Olympic Family Practice made this a very stress free process. They genuinely cared about my medical needs and made me feel very comfortable with the change. Just a great medical and administrative staff. If your new to the area I would highly recommend them.

Olympic Family Practice and Nurse Wilcox have failed my newborn. Im so into the idea of a family practice, my whole family has established care there. I was very excited to bring my infant to the practice.

Repeatedly, though- they have failed him. He was seen 2x a week for his first month of life. He is my 2nd child, so I KNEW something was wrong. He cried excessively and had a whole list of problems I needed help with.

Nurse Practitioner Wilcox refused to prescribe reflux medication the first time I asked for it. We discussed the multiple feeding issues we had. My son physically cannot breastfeed, chokes and sputters at bottles. She clipped his tongue due to a particularly bad tongue tie. Ive now learned at 3 months old that she did it incorrectly and he still has very little posterior tongue movement.

At his 2 month appointment, the medical assistants didnt know how to vaccinate him while I breastfed for comfort. A totally normal practice for babies.

I had to request a referral to ENT, GI and feeding therapy with an SLP. This should have immediately been her recommendation/course of action once it was out of her scope.

Knowing now what I do about my 3month old sons health- I imagine he could have had a better life those first 6 weeks, had I known to get him to a professional. I trusted this practice. And they failed my newborn time and time again.

I will be taking my non-complex 7yo to another office as well.

Olympic Family Practice has no business seeing children.

I highly recommend Olympic Family Practice. Dr. Caulkins and his staff are true professionals who genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Caulkins has been our family's doctor for years and he has taken wonderful care of us whether it is a routine check up or an emergency appointment for our son. He takes his time listening to our questions and is sure to thoroughly address any concerns we may have. We have always felt like family when we visit and our 2 1/2 year old son actually enjoys his appointments! His entire staff is top notch and our family completely trusts in their high standard of care.

I have been a patient here since I was 14 years old. I am not a mother of 5 and he is still our primary care provider. I couldn’t imagine being seen by any other office. Love our health care family! Highly recommend. These people listen and take great care of you.

I'm going to start by saying that Dr. Caulkins is wonderful. He is knowledgeable, caring, and kind. If this review was for just him, it would be a solid 5 stars. Unfortunately, getting in to see him is hard. More often than not you will get scheduled with a Nurse Practitioner and while the NP's are very nice and know what they are doing on the basics, if you have a question beyond the very basics, they will say you need to schedule another visit. So in the end, you leave without a definite answer and to get a definite answer you end up paying for two visits plus use up even more of your time. Unfortunately, I have begun looking for a new doctor because of these practices. I do not have the time, or wish to spend the money, for two visits to get an answer for any medical issues I have.
