I had a seizure with my son in the car and flipped into a ditch long story short. I had another seizure a while in there and they took amazing care of me and then when I ran out of my medication and had to go back Doctor who was there the first time when we were there again to get more seizure medication and they were so quick to help me get more I am forever greatful that the ambulance took me to this hospital and not Holmes considering I was treated with nothing but dignity and respect during my whole time there and anytime Iโ€™ve been to Homes regional Iโ€™ve been treated like I was an alien and on top of that homes regional as a reason my mom is not alive anymore so I recommend 100 out of 10, thank yโ€™all again for everything.

Dr. Connolly and Heather were awesome! They were professional, courteous, and empathetic. They were very personal and evidence-based driven in their approach to my care. Even though I'm a health-care professional myself they still never failed to explain things to me as if I never could understand. I appreciate their candor and time spent with me. I felt a million times better after receiving fast, timely, and emergent care on our first day as Orlando Health employees. I cannot wait to see the continual growth for Orlando Health here in Brevard County.

The ER is old, outdated, and filthy. Even something as simple as a trash can that is broken can't be replaced? The staff use their hands to lift the lid and then touch the patient without changing gloves. Hospitals should be clean, and you shouldn't feel like you will get more sick from being in one. And why do they allow cleaning people to come in patient ls rooms to empty trash. Isn't that some sort of hipa violation? Update, the staff has horrible attitudes. Waited 2.5 hours for a CT. The 1 person that can do it has an attitude and is miserable to deal with. Over 6 hours to get treatment. How does an ER in the city of Melbourne only have 1 ER doctor on. Won't be coming back here for anything.

So the response from Melbourne hospital must be automated because they don't reach out after you send them your contact.

My visit to Melbourne Regional was very satisfying. Everyone there doctors nurses employees were very caring and helpful. The doctor that was caring for me went above and beyond the problem that I was there for. I have a hernia that was really bothering me but the doctor that I saw back home told me that it was only due to the infection I had and there was no problem. This doctor at Regional Medical said there was a problem and I had to have it out ASAP because it was acting up and dangerous was far from what the New York doctor had told me. I was more than grateful for his advice. It is going to help me avoid serious problems. So again thank you very very much for your expertise and attention to my condition.
Sincerely , Donna Braun.

They help me really fast but then I felt like no one came to see me for the longest time. I asked to be unhooked from my IV to go to the bathroom and the nurse never came back even after hitting the call. If it was busy I could understand but people where just joking around hardly anyone was there. My daughter finally came out to ask if I could go home as I was feeling better and they got me out in 15min. They did there job with making me feel better, but I really didn't need to be there as long as I was. It was also freezing in there and it seemed like a big deal when I asked for more blankets and no pillows.

If you can avoid going here, I recommend doing so. I had to go to the ER for a very specific service and was admitted and told I needed to have blood drawn as standard procedure. As soon as they finish the Dr. comes in to tell me the service I need is not available because the individual that performs it was out and no one else was available and was forced to go to a completely different ER for this. I was then billed over $1000 (after my insurance) for a service I was admitted to under false pretenses. Called and emailed customer service about this with absolutely no help and they told me my bill would be held while they were reviewing it. Come to get my bill again saying they are sending me to collections because I never responded or paid. Crooks and fraud galore hereand stuck with 2 ER bills for the exact same day for both over $1000. I will be reporting them to fraud department as this is unacceptable.
I was finally able to get it taken care of because the Dr. Stepped in to help. Otherwise the billing department was very much ok with their fraud bill and now a year later decided to send me another bill (that I already actually paid because it was so difficult to get it taken care of) after getting everything else taken care of because my insurance disputed the bill, got refunded, and accidentally repaid the amount back to them. So now the hospital thinks it's ok to rebill me too even though I already paid! Fraud fraud fraud! Worst hospital to deal with!
