I had a terrible experience here. I broke my hand and had complicated surgery. My surgeon sent me here as he had spoken with Dina the owner and she assured him there was a great hand therapist there. While making me a splint she took it out of an electric frypan with scalding water and put it right onto my hand! I had a big burn that’s still there weeks later. They made me pay for the splint. It felt awful and was all jagged on the edges. I sent photos to my Dr. and he told me that wasn’t what he ordered and to take it off right away cause it would do more harm than good. I went to get my money back and explained it to Dina. She didn’t seem to care at all. I would NEVER go back there again.

Excellent staff and clean well equipped facilities with great resistance equipment and cardio machines. I have been a patient twice since 2021 and wholeheartedly endorse OSPT. Rich is attentive, knowledgeable and finds the perfect balance of challenging strength building activities that help get you back to where you need to be. I noticed vast improvement in just a few sessions and even when an activity is tough it pays off with increased mobility and strength. The whole crew is hardworking and engaged and the atmosphere is positive, kind and there’s a true camaraderie between staff and patients that make a difficult experience easier. Skilled deep tissue massage and alternative healing practices combined with well chosen exercises make for an excellent experience, and the full gym on site is highly recommended as well.

I took PT at OSPT for a shoulder impingement and had a very positive experience. TJ is a great therapist who examined and clearly explained both the source of my pain and how we were going to address it. He did an excellent job of helping me fully rebound and understand how to avoid re-injuring it. The overall environment at OSPT, including billing and scheduling is also friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere created for the clients is supportive and fun. I highly recommend OSPT.

I can’t say enough good things about this group.

I had total hip replacement surgery in June, and had a goal to be in Hawaii kite surfing by October. I was very skeptical in the early stages of rehab, needing crutches or a cane for the first month, but Rich and his staff kept assuring me that I’d be ready. They had me progressing at a slow, steady pace, holding me back from pushing myself and helping me avoid any setbacks. At about 8 weeks, progress started to happen much more quickly. After 12 weeks of therapy, I was back on the water kite surfing. 3 weeks later I was in Hawaii, and my hip was never an issue. In addition to kiting, I was able to hike, bike and swim with no restrictions.

I’ve been to more than my share physical therapists for various sports-related injuries over the years (I’m 60 years old don’t know when to quit).
I can honestly say that the treatment I received at OSPT is the most effective I’ve ever had. Their combination of exercises and hands-on manipulation works. I had first seen them last year for a neck injury and got much better relief than I had gotten from first going to 2 chiropractors and another physical therapist.

I’m done with my basic rehab now but have continued on a program with them for the next two months with the hope of playing hockey again by January. We’ll see

If you care about a safe and correct rehab do NOT go here.

They had me on a program at 8 weeks that I should have been doing at 16-20 weeks for knee rehab. I’m only praying there is no damage and am beyond disappointed that I trusted them and they misguided me. I should have checked it myself but trusted them.

This was all caught at a post op follow-up with my doctor when I gave him my PTs feedback regarding our program. He told me to stop going to them immediately. They never responded, apologized or explained when I asked about this.

Aside from the above, which is the reason to avoid this place, I was here from January - March during the pandemic. The owner never wore a mask and only wore a flimsy plastic shield that he kept flipped up the entire time while regularly shouting across the gym.  This carelessness sets the tone for the entire place and what’s to follow. Avoid.

I have used OSPT for two different injuries. I saw them first for a hand injury(Dina) and then Bob Reese for back pain. I need to say that I have had PT in Western Massachusetts and also Colorado. The dedication, knowledge and attention is far superior at OSPT. I am the type of person that pushes for more exercises to do at the gym or at home as I want to get a full recovery!! Both Dina and Bob responded well to my requests and I am most pleased with the results. As a separate note - if you ever want to know what surgeon is the best in your area, just ask a PT!! They see the results of all the local surgeons!!
