Dr. Rittell has been my dr. For many years. I have never had a complaint about my visits with him. He listens and takes my opinion into consideration as well. My refills are always taken care of promptly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rittell and his staff. I hope I never have to change!

My Doctor called in under the weather and had to reschedule. Cotuit got me an appointment within a half/ Hr. Of my originally scheduled appointment. Convenient and plenty of parking. The staff is in good spirits and Dr Rittel took the time from his busy day to see me. I cannot thank them enough for squeezing me in. Some people have to wait a whole Month to reschedule a Dr. visit.

I scheduled a routine physical at the Cotuit office. I had no physical complaints whatsoever. My PCP (Dr. Rittel) asked that I get blood work done beforehand, which I did. I received a clean bill of health during the physical. Afterwards, I received a bill for the blood tests, even though I am 100% covered for preventative care under my insurance. The blood work was incorrectly billed as "diagnostic" as opposed to "preventative". After dozens of phone calls, Emerald Physicians finally said the issue would be taken care of and I would not have to do anything further. Nevertheless, months later, I received a new bill, which was then sent to a collections agency after a short period. Emerald Physicians will not let me pay for the bill, and as of right now, the collections agency has no record of it either. What a nightmare. Go elsewhere.

Dr Rittell, is one of the most caring doctor's I know.
He takes the time to really listen and doesn't rush me out the door. The entire staff in cotuit are amazing. Thank you for truly caring.

I recently left Emerald in Cotuit after 5-6 years there. Now I go to Mashpee Family Medicine. MUCH more user friendly. Open on Saturdays and you don't need an appointment. So far, MUCH happier! Not completely surprised to read some very negative comments about Emerald.
