When you are sick, you often do not get your primary care. I have to say I got the best provider I have ever had when my primary care was out of the office. Andrew Chin is the absolute best provider I have ever heard who knows what he’s doing he was very compassionate and he even pushed me out into the waiting room in my wheelchair. He did not have a nurse. Help me out into the waiting room. I just felt very special because when I said this will hold your schedule he said that’s OK Everyone’s important I really liked him because he was so thorough And he just focused on the person In front of him He did not rush And he ordered some test and he called me within a couple of hours with the results. Just the best care I have ever Gotten and I am so lucky to have had a chance To have him as a provider

OuterCape Health in Harwhich Port has the WORST process for returning calls. They have no option to return a call. You have to leave another message and then maybe someone calls you back. This is another example of a health provider institutionalizing substandard patient care through poor communication.

DONT GO HERE!! THEY LIE, THEY DONT COMMUNICATE, THEY DONT LISTEN TO PATIENTS, AND DR. KENNEDY IS THE WORST PSYCHE, I have ever had! And I have had quite a few and gotta look for another now. Told me that she felt comfortable prescribing my therapeutic dose and 2 weeks later starts cutting me down, not even tapering me down, and I'm at risk of having seizures. Been nothing but a detriment to my health since starting here! Doesn't have my full medical file, so I think she shouldn't be moving any meds around. SAVE YOURSELF TIME, ENERGY, AND MONEY! JUST DONT!

Love OCH. And all my providers there. They genuinely make me so grateful for access to healthcare. I know so many do not have this privilege. And especially to the super star medical staff - Tara Heart and Jodi Belson. Compassionate, intelligent, informed, comprehensive- everything I could hope for.
Thank you.

I have to share this, everytime I have gone to see my Dr, who is absolutely wonderful, Dr Frank Fluet, that office has gone above and beyond for me. From Amanda the nurse, who always gets back to me. To the front desk who are always so polite and kind. But my Dr is the best because he listens to what you’re saying and he hears you. Not many doctors are like that. I’m very blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor’s office.

Generally good people trying to work within a generally bad system.

My gripes: zero consistency in medical care, poor communication, lost/forgotten referrals, everyone is clearly overworked. I just learned (by text) that my primary care doctor has been replaced with somebody new... which will be my 5th in 4 years at this office. Again, I think they have good individuals but they're all cogs in a dysfunctional wheel.

The survey I received recently from Outer Cape Health asked about how clean the office is, and how safe I felt in the office, etc. I'm curious if they're asking these ridiculous things because they're avoiding input about the obvious, glaring deficiencies in their system.

The referral department repeatedly makes mistakes that are unprofessional sloppy careless as if the person who reads them is clueless! After waiting for 5 weeks to receive a referral i had to go in person and they don't like that at all to hear complaints.
The Administrative staff-office manager caitlin- was not effective in a timely manner in doing what i was told would be done regarding assignment to a new PCP as my original PCP retired. CHAOS AT ITS BEST!!!!!
Dr Corcoran was thorough and detailed.
Dr KELLY KING is new and when I spoke with her about the referral errors she said that she would speak with the staff.

Extremely bad experience with this office. In April of 2023 I followed website instructions for filling out a lengthy new patient forms online. I relocated back to the Cape from Western Mass. I called in May asking for confirmation that the info was received. I was told my name is in the system and that I will be scheduled in 6 months from when I sent in my request. On 7/17/23 I called the office to inquire if I would be waiting longer than 6 months or not so I could decide to contact another provider. I was transferred to Tammy, New patient manager, left a message asking for a call back. No call back. I called and left another message for Tammy on 7/23/23. No call back I practically begged for a call so I could move on to another practice. I stupidly waited to be contacted to schedule a visit. I work in Healthcare and never would we treat a patient like this. We are required to call by the end of the day they called.
I called back on 10/18 and again was transferred to Tammy. You guessed it. She didn't call me back.
On 10/24 I called and asked Diane in reception to have a Practice Manager/Director call me and no one ever called.
Part of patient care includes not treating patients like this and causing a lot of stress. I can't relate to how they can do this. My office is extremely busy and I take patient calls. Not only would we never treat our patient's so horribly, I would lose my job if I did this.
I called a practice in Hyannis in October and was called back in 2 days and made appt for 3 weeks ahead. I was thrilled to get a new PCP.
