Great experience! Every person I encountered at this office was kind, friendly, compassionate and efficient. I had my first ever pain free deep cleaning. The cost was more than reasonable and they took my insurance! It’s taken me a while to find a dentist that I was comfortable with and I feel I’ve made a great decision for all of my dental care to come to pacific island dental

It was my first visit as a new patient, and I had a great experience. Dr. Surana and her staff were incredibly friendly, and Asal (Honey), the dental hygienist, did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. I came here because my coworker recommended it and I had two medieval root canals done here. One is FAILING after not even a whole year of being done, and the second one is iffy. It was torturous and the endo was huffy when I needed a break. She inserted those files over and over and over and took X-rays with them numerous times and it was seriously stressing me out.
The bedside manner of the dentist and the endo she brings in isn't great.
I came in after the root canals because they felt weird to me, and the dentist says I need a root canal on the tooth above it. She then tells me about stuff we haven't talked about and said "we talked about this, it was on your treatment plan," so I go to the front to get a new printout of my treatment plan and the girl at the front goes "oh I need to add this to your treatment plan so hold on." Talk about gaslighting. I felt pressured. It just smelled really fishy to me so I went somewhere else to get a second opinion. Turns out the tooth above the root canals just needed a filling and the root canal itself was failing.
I've had one root canal at my new dentists since and the experience was literally night and day. The root canal was a breeze compared to what I had done to me here.

The office staff are fine. They're nice and they're communicative. But if you have bad teeth, you're probably gonna be treated like you're a gold mine.
