DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!!

I’ve been diagnosed with necrotizing pancreatitis at UCSD and have been seeing a specialist who also didn’t listen to me, gave me a bridge medication till i found a pain management doctor. It took MONTHS for me to get my consultation here, and when it did, the NP barely even asked me questions, she seemed like she was trying to rush me, my partner also felt like she wasn’t listening to us. I didn’t even finish telling her that notes from a scan i had previously at UCSD noted that i had holes in my spine🙃, also experiencing pain in my knees and wrists/hands aside from my abdomen/back. She didn’t really go over suggestions on what i could do for pain, she just said that pain injections in my pancreas would be ideal!!!! I couldn’t even get a word in to tell her that the left side of my pancreas is completely gone and the rest is healing! So where was the doctor going to inject me? She also prescribed medication in the meantime, the pharmacy told me to let them know it was going to be on back order for several months, i tried calling them SEVERAL TIMES! I even emailed them too, no response to anything till i had to call them again and they answered….3 1/2 weeks it took them to answer and i had my follow up with them a few days later that also didn’t go good! I told them that my medication was on back order and possibly need to be prescribed something different since the pharmacy suggested that. Mind you i was talking to a receptionist checking me in, i waited a hour past my check in time for the NP to call me back to tell me she was going to put my medication request in, didn’t even bother asking me anything or going over the procedure of what to expect for the pain injections since they didn’t know my pancreas is barely even there😐, she just called late/didn’t listen/hung up. The pharmacy told me it would be on back order again and I’ve tried calling several times again for them to never answer! On top of that, i was supposed to get pain injections a week after my follow up, apparently they scheduled me on the day the doctor wasn’t going to be in so another month in severe pain with no medication, no solution! There’s like 3 or 4 receptionists there! What are you guys even doing to not be answering the phones, it’s highly unprofessional and puts others at risk of just being in pain. I had to get a new referral for a better office because im done calling several times just for them to not answer and disregard everything i need to say before i even say it.

Made an appt for 9:45 and showed up at 9:15 was sitting in The lobby watching people come in and go right in to see doctor… finally asked what the hold up was and she said my appt wasn’t until 10:45 and only told me 9:45 on the phoe the day before.. waited 2 hrs missed work… office people are ahit show

Dr. Fisher makes all procedures pain-free. (I used to cry getting certain shots!) Maria, an MA at the Oceanside office is super helpful and kind. I'm never switching pain management offices again.

Katie is amazing; she spends enough time with her patients, explaining in detail everything that needs to be done; however front office are horrible that’s why I gave them 3 stars. They don’t answer the phones, don’t return calls when you leave messages, don’t return emails. They need training in how to manage the office. Unfortunately Dr. fisher is spreading himself too thin between offices, performing procedures and not spending enough time with his patients.

This is by far the worst doctors office I have ever dealt with. They will not pick up the phone or return calls and will not answer questions. Avoid like the plague.

OK, probably the worst medical office ever! I had an appointment with Dr. Casey Fisher but instead was seen by a Physician's Assistant who just recommended a stronger pain med but no other solution. The office personnel, over the phone, were completely rude and for the 20-minute appointment with the Physician's Assistant I received a bill for $722. Please keep in mind there were no diagnostics done or procedures performed.

Dr. Fisher is great but his staff at all offices are unprofessional and will cancel appointments regularly saying the insurance approval is pending but when you call insurance you find our it's a lie. They never even put in for an approval. I've had this happen 4 + times. They don't follow up, they say they will call to check on a procedure and don't, they will try to tell you that you need to have another in-office follow up appointment to get out of a procedure appointment. The actual doctors are great, straightforward and knowledgeable, his assistants are great too but the front office & paperwork staff are rude and rarely do their jobs.

No longer a patient here but needed my
medical records. They do not return calls.
The oceanside El Camino office closed without Informing me that they had moved, no sign in the door. I tracked d0wn the new location only to be told it costs 25.00 for 4 pages of my medical information. My case is now in the hands of SSI so I hope they don't get in the way of the reviewer or agent when records are needed. The PA was able to get me a referral out of this practice and thankfully am I'm good hands with a different spine speculate and having surgery after 2 years of being a patient here.
