I recently hired Palm Springs Cleaning & Disenfecting for a biohazard cleanup and hoarding cleanup at a family member's home.

Gilbert and his team were very professional, compassionate, and incredibly thorough.

Gil- my advice is to use my feedback as an opportunity to reflect on accountability and improvements for future and prospective customers so the issues I had are not repeated. My feedback is not an invitation for deflection.

You are correct- I expected a deep clean because that is what I asked for. And when I asked for the checklist of tasks for the deep clean, you provided me with the tasks for post-renovation cleaning. When I read the checklist, I saw that the task of “vacuum and mop floor thoroughly” was listed. So regardless if the cleaning is called “deep clean” or “post-renovation cleaning”, my expectation is that the task on the checklist is complete. I understand that I was quoted the wrong price, and appreciate that the wrong price was still honored, but my feedback for improvement would be to provide the correct quote for the service a customer asks for and to update the description on the checklist for post-renovation cleaning to accurately describe the tasks to be completed.

Secondly, when I asked how many hours we should expect cleaning to take, you said “depending on how dusty - likely 6 at least”. I interpreted this as “cleaners will be cleaning for a minimum of 6 hours and if it is very dusty (which it was), it may take longer.” It was very dusty, so I find it confusing that the job took less than the minimum number of hours that was quoted.

Yes, the cleaners were asked to mop the garage. And they were paid $20 each for the additional 15 minutes it took to mop the garage. But that still doesn’t account for the remaining hour and 45 minutes to deliver on quality work for the checklist items. The dirty cloth is actually after wiping the bottom of bare feet from walking inside the house, not the garage. That was a few hours after the cleaners left and we keep the windows and doors closed!

When you respond with: “I’m sorry you’re unhappy”, please know that you are not responsible for my feelings. But you are responsible for clearly articulating and delivering services with a certain level of quality assurance. Again - these are opportunities for improvement and information for prospective customers.

Part 1: I had some drywall repairs done and I booked a post-renovation cleaning service. The cleaning duo showed up on time as scheduled. I was informed that they would be cleaning for at least 6 hours. However, they wrapped up in 4 hours. I could’ve really used the additional 2 hours of cleaning that I was quoted. The floors are still dirty. I’ll have to clean them myself.

I met with Gil and Alli when they came to give me an estimate on the job I absolutely could not do myself. They were both so kind, considerate and explained everything so thoroughly I knew right away they were going to do a great job. And they did an amazing job. They were so respectful to me and my 13 year old granddaughter the entire time.
