I came here from nor cal, in the process of finding housing but currently homeless. I went in to the 'urgent care' which was in the dental area? And got seen quickly, but was treated absolutely horrific. I came to get 2 refills on both medications I've been on for 4+ years... non narcotic. A face cream and an anti anxiety/mental health medication... the Dr. S. Talib, came in extremely rude with his first comments being that the medications arnt right for me and that I was probably prescribed it by a dr that just wanted me out of the office. Then proceeds too basically tell me I'm lieing (when I had my empty bottle with me) saying he doesn't know if I'm being honest, tells me he doesn't have my medical records, do i have them with me? Why don't I have them with me? I let him know I don't carry around my medical records. I am in the process of moving and just need my regulars... he told me he was not going to give me that dose, and questioned why I have the face cream telling me thats not correct either. In the middle he freaked out saying I was recording him and went on a rant for minutes when I immediately showed him I wasn't recording. Then tells me why didn't you just go to the ER? I told him it wasn't an emergency I just needed the meds... he then tells me he's making me an appointment for a regular psychiatrist and dermatologist cuz what I'm on isn't right. The entire time I'm holding back tears, he proceeds to tell me I have an attitude that he doesn't like. I did everything I could just to leave this place... I came out crying my eyes out feeling way worse then when I came in which I was having a full blown anxiety attack prior to even going in due to not having my medications. He ended up booking an appointment for a primary December 24th (it's October 29th) while giving me 7 days of medications that arnt even the correct dose... I have no clue what this was but it was the worst urgent care experience I've ever had and I do not plan on returning. Ever. It's extremely sad that people go to doctors hoping for help and get treated so horribly without anything being done to reprimand the doctor. So it just continues to hurt people and scare them away from getting the help they need so they live in suffering. We wonder why the world is how it is. If your in a position of power it doesn't mean you are above someone or can belittle them to make yourself feel better. Especially if theyre coming to you for help. You could end up pushing someone over the edge so they take their own life. You never know what someone is going through. I hope something is done about this quack because this was disgusting and something I truly did not need to experience. Let alone anyone.

The 4 receptionist in the very front check in kind of snobby , not really a welcoming vibe , could be sharper , specially when come to intelligence with peoples medical needs , check up physical was a 1hr 30 min wait . In cold lil room , other than that, it’s good to get your yearly check ups , doctors and nurses seem to have somewhat intelligence , I can’t complain. IEHP is really really good. place was a lot better when first open 4 years ago . Had a good doc , don’t remember his name

I hope they record their conversations when you make appointments because the phone etiquette is really terrible. Its been bad before, but today was just plain rude. I was on hold for over 15 minutes just to get treated like that. I have had negative experiences calling in or checking in with the front desk for appointments, but never this rude.
My experiences with the medical staff have overall been good, and I am very happy with my current provider. I have only had negative experiences with phone calls and during the check in process.

The Express Care walk-in appointment I had earlier today saved the rest of my vacation. My ear was hurting in a bad way after a sub-par ear cleaning two days prior.
Referred to Express Care by another urgent care, the nurse and doctor here addressed my ear issue, provided care and treatment, and prescribed me ear drops to treat the infection.
My ear felt 100% better and is now on the mend.
Thank you all!

My mother went in for checkup after losing weight. “ All is fine. Your spleen is enlarged, but there is nothing we can do about that. It’s your gallbladder that needs to come out.” 4 months later, my mother has been in the hospital for 10 days. Her spleen is enlarged because she has lymphoma. No issue with gallbladder at all. I would not let DR. QUILLONES EXAMINE MY DOG.

Horrible. I had an infection in my jaw. I had seen dentist in morning and he did x-ray. Didn't see anything. Went to regular Dr in afternoon and he tried to say swelling was due to a herniated disc in neck. The herniated disc in my neck has been there for awhile and does not cause swelling. It was my jaw hurting and the swelling was right there. My pain management prescribed antibiotics and infection went away. Messed up my knee in August. Saw PA a week later. MRI referral sent to wrong insurance. I contacted Dr office several times to find out what was going on for MRI referral. Told them my insurance hasn't received anything and it took going back to see regular Dr in October to get referral to right insurance. I reinjured knee 3 more times between September and October 16th. At no point were crutches ordered until November. Finally was referred to a orthopedic doctor. Do not go here. This was not the only issues I had. I was only with the place about a year and a few months and the doctors don't listen, they don't read your files and the office staff can't seem to do their job correctly.

At the clinic at 191 Sunrise Way in Palm Springs (the names floating around within this chain of clinics is very confusing), I have had several encounters over two different workers that are absolutely unacceptable.

The first one was with Teresa Lopez (np), who was demeaning, neglectful, and frankly, quite rude in her phone call to me at two different times on the phone. She refused to listen and refused to carry out the needs of the phone call. She talked down to me and was very nasty in her attitude, not addressing my concerns. She acted like she didn’t have time for what she was being paid to do, and tried to control and limit the conversation, after continually interrupting, being short and annoyed with me, and refusing to carry out medically needed requests.

A complaint was put in with the Director Sergio, who respectfully listened to me, apologized, and stated the concern would be dealt with. I really appreciated that, and was given another appointment with a different worker.

The next interaction was with Marlene Jackson (np), who I thought might be kinder and actually listen to and address my concerns. This individual not only refused to engage in professional communication about what was being requested and needed, but she got her ego all involved and became condescending in her tone for no reason, refusing clear, communication and refusing to fully address kindly requested, important concerns. She then had the audacity to literally hang up the phone as I was calmly attempting to clarify one of the medical requests. To get one’s hubris all triggered like that, and then act out on someone who’s paying you for your service and is in medical need, is unacceptable behavior.

I have some serious medical appointments coming up and need these concerns addressed, and these interactions have been needless delays in getting my medical needs met. This is negligence, and it is unacceptable behavior by adults in a professional field.

We (or our insurances) are PAYING these people for their SERVICE, service being the keyword. I am advocating, not only for myself, but other people who are likely being treated the same way or worse. No one should be MISTREATED, especially when they are coming to you in need!

These individuals need to be held accountable for their uncalled for behavior. Period. And I will go to the next legal step if needed.

I also need my appointment questions, concerns and requests (which they are being paid for) to be addressed. My requests have been very simple, brief, and are within the norm for these appointments, especially after people dropping the ball on medical specifics and miscommunication taking place on the part of this clinic in the past.

I’m expecting another call back from Sergio and will update on where it goes from here.

Would not recommend these two individuals, and their use of mildly manipulative and abusive language/tactics, if you are advocating for your health at all. They should be ashamed.
