Michelle @ Parkwood worked with me every step of the way to get my 40yr son who has a spinal cord injury into the facility. Staff is professional, stellar in engaging with patients, and family members. Most of all my son is completely at Peace residing there!

Worse facility I ever worked for I quit because management is horrible . I told the director of nursing staci that I quit and she tried to get me to sign a paper stating that I quit I told her I will never return and not signing a paper . She ran after me outside and blocked me from leaving and chased behind me very unprofessional and out of line I was recording on my phone during the entire incident and plan to share this with the nursing board , I would never recommend this facility please run and don’t even bother applying .

My mom stayed there for 8 months before passing. The staff was incredible. They helped us with Medicare and the nurses were very caring and compassionate. They called us and kept us informed of every medical experience mom had. They even advised us on her care and steps we needed to take to prepare for her decline. The facility has been under new management for a while and the overall rating does not reflect this facility.

If I can give ZERO stars I would. Parkwood is the most unprofessional facility I stepped foot in. I was hired and I went for orientation and firstly I was told oh we have some residents with covid so don’t be surprised when u getting here. My first impression of staff when I arrived was poor. No greeting no info on where I would go. So then I had to get covid tested and tht was fine, but I then asked how bad is the covid outbreak and a staff member was like oh it’s real bad like 28 residents? I’m like WHAT and tht facility is not tht big and they had each hall blocked and plastic barley hanging for isolation. I went back outside and f-ing left. Like hell no added to COVID the place was cluttered and dirty. The restroom ? OMG absolutely disgusting. This place should be closed idk why the health dept still allow them to stay open.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been trying for over a year to transfer my father here just so he can be closer and Mary in the admissions office has continued to give me the run around. She needs to be replaced because she is obviously not proficient at her job. She lied and said she was going to visit my father for an evaluation and never did, she doesn't return phone calls and she's hardly ever at work. The only reason I've pursued the transfer is so I can see my dad more because Parkwood is right down the street. But it's obvious that like most for profit nursing homes they don't care about the patients only the paycheck. So thanks for nothing, Mary in Admissions!

I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a home for a friend or love one to Parkwood..I Visit the facility with a friend the staff was very polite they seem to enjoy the patients as well. They we're fun and loving towards their patients..

I strongly advise Anyone that go here or send their family be careful make sure you get records when they leave & daily reports on your family,friend etc. They are very rude! A lot of lying. I don't approve of anyone going their. They put on a good front trust me I know due to privous experience.

Having my friend in the facility at ParkWood Health Care was Great from the admission the entire staff is wonderful, making my friend feel welcome, whenever I call or goes by it’s always positives.Thank you ParkWood Health Care
