As everyone knows it's quite literally a nightmare, dealing with most offices and healthcare nowadays, but that is not the case here. Pepperell Family Practice has made having to go to the doctor not a headache anymore. Specifically medical provider Kara Viel she is the best I've been seeing her for years, and the office staff knows what they're doing. They respond to messages, you can actually get help when you call, the staff doesn't make it seem like you're interrupting them! I had to go another office for a year unfortunately due to changes in insurance, and when my insurance changed back to one that covered PFP again and I was so happy to be going back. Since it had been a year I was now a "new patient" which Kara wasn't taking, but she told them she'd take me back and I am so grateful!! The practice I had to go during my absence, which I won't name, was just unreliable. Would take 3-4 days to send in my ADHD medication and birth control which I'm a mess without both. Then with the current state of pharmacies rn too if they were out and I had to get it somewhere else, 2-3 times in a row, it would take over a week to eventually get my meds! They also did not reply in the mychart portal (providers or admin side) for weeks at a time which I feel is unacceptable. Kara always responds in a reasonable timeframe, and the office answers the phone and is helpful, even referrals to the SNH weight loss center was easy through mychart. Thank you guys!!!

update 4 stars bc i remembered i did have an issue with the billing office so be careful to stay on top of it. i told them i was struggling and needed a payment plan which we set up, i paid the first payment but then was behind but not for long and they sent it to collections. i didn't think that was even allowed so. but the whole office is not billing so not all their fault!!!

My experience with Nicole Machain left me crying, defeated and embarrassed. I will never be returning to this practice and I hope Nicole does not treat any other patient, as she treated me.
I have had concerns of ADHD for a while now, and I figured I would begin my journey to explore that with my PCP. Nicole scoffed at me, said “everyone can’t have ADHD” and blamed my thinking I could have it on “TikTok”. I do not have TikTok, but even if I did- that is inappropriate.
She made me feel foolish and like one in a million adult women searching for answers on this.
She then spent about 6 minutes talking about herself, her baby and some of her childhood memories, when she could have been further exploring my concerns and the reason I was sitting in that office.
Nicole then handed me a list of providers I can call to do a further assessment and made a joke about how if I have ADHD, I probably will struggle to even call these numbers.
Nicole said a few times “I really don’t know. I don’t know” and I said “…then why was I advised to be here? Why did I start with you?” and she looked offended.

This is not the first time I have seen Nicole and had an unpleasant experience. The last time I saw her, she made a needless comment on how ”big” my breast reduction scars were and also handed me a paper with my weight on it, despite me telling the entire office that I do blind weighs, and everyone else respecting that.
I will never be returning. I cannot believe she is in this field, it felt like a satirical SNL sketch on how women are not listened to in medical spaces.

I highly recommend...Dr. Disocio is the best. She is thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Dr.Desocio is such a wonderful, caring, compassionate and kind physician who truly cares about each patient she sees.
She replies back to emails promptly and if something is urgent she always follows up to make sure it was addressed properly. The few times I was unable to see my physician and have seen other ones at this practice, everyone has been so kind and helpful.
I appreciate the professionalism, well maintained clean establishment and the staff is just lovely. Your continuous hard work doesn't go unnoticed and this is a safe and comfortable place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a new paychian.

Well, I won't say I always have a good time here... No, seriously, everyone here is very friendly, but also professional and polite. I dislike most doctors (lots of bad experiences), but everyone here has always treated me well – they LISTEN, they don't just push pills. Highly recommended!

Alright so I'll start off by saying the admin staff are very nice and the doctors are nice as well... in attitude. So if you are going for just a check up it's a good place...

The reason I rate 2 stars is due to how they handled a workers comp case and as such if you are planning to go here for any legal reasons... Don't. They are a small practice and it shows in their understanding of how the process works. Mislabels in summary's that caused a legal issue, unwilling to fix it but stated that there may have been a misunderstanding anyways... Appeal was denied by the Dr for a simple correction that would have been 100% accurate and not cause an issue with my case.. the lack of knowledge of how their reports directly impact any legal situation shows that things like this are beyond their capabilities as an office.

Even just getting them to set up the insurance information that I had given them 10 times at least was a pain. Each visit took about 15mins of standing there waiting for them to figure out how to submit it before I was even checked into their system...

I wish I could rate higher but this was a large issue caused by a small thing this practice caused and I won't be going back to them for any more follow ups.
