I’ve had a consistently disappointing experience with this clinic. The staff is always cold and inattentive, making interactions feel impersonal and frustrating. My most recent visit was especially frustrating—my doctor was over 45 minutes late, with no communication or acknowledgment of the delay.

Additionally, I had significant issues simply trying to get my referral corrected. I called multiple times, but the clinic failed to resolve the issue, leaving me stuck for weeks without the care I needed. Despite my patience, the lack of responsiveness and efficiency forced me to seek medical attention elsewhere, paying out of pocket because my HMO primary doctor’s office couldn’t provide the necessary support in a timely manner.

It’s incredibly disappointing to know that this is the level of care I have to rely on through my insurance. The service has been unacceptable, and I truly hope improvements are made for future patients.

I love Dr. Anita Gupta! She is the best!!! Dr. Gupta is so intelligent, kind, accessible, responsive, and I know that I'm in the best hands under her care. It also helps that Dr. Gupta has amazing bedside manner which is a huge plus. I instantly felt at ease when I first met her. I never have to deal with a long wait when I check in at the front desk at Perlman Clinic. The staff and physicians are very patient and caring. I'm so thankful for Dr. Gupta and the rest of the Perlman Clinic Del Mar staff. Thank you for making my experience at the doctor's office so pleasant!

Dr. Henry is easy to work with. He listens carefully and collaborates with you. He is upbeat, friendly and really knows how to care for his patients despite probably being overworked and underpaid. I hope he takes a nice vacation somewhere tropical and and fun because he deserves it.

I am a senior and I have had repeated visits at Perlman clinic due to major medical issues and I have had the best care from nurse practitioner Lacey Post, assistant Katie and many others. My medical needs have been varied and often serious and complicated. I highly recommend their excellent care and skill for any routine or walk-in visit. There not enough “stars” to say thank you for all the excellent care I’ve had in your Del Mar Perlman Office, both professionally and medically.

Plenty of available appointments both in person and virtually. The staff is very friendly, professional and polite. Appointment making is user friendly on the Perlman app. I switched to Perlman from Scripps due to insurance contract cancellation, and so far I am not unhappy about the forced change.

Dr David Larual was the best ever Doctor. He came me a cortisone shot which was must needed in my left shoulder. He knew exactly where to place it and his explanation was amazing. He only works at the Del Mar Clinic on Sundays and was I so so fortunate to have him. I have already told a friend that needs one and loving to dance I am going to tell all my dance girlfriends if they need someone amazing to do a cortisone shot he is the Dr for them. I hope 🤞 I don’t need another one but if I do I hope he is not fully retired yet. Carol
