I was referred to Dr. Petit by a physician family member for a second opinion regarding my COPD. I drove 300 miles for this appointment. My medical records were forwarded in early March, 2023, and I scheduled an appointment for late May. Interesting that one can only communicate with this practice by fax or telephone. They do not communicate via email "because it's not encrypted". Huh? I arrived at my 12:30 pm appointment 30 minutes early, and walked out of the office at 1:15 pm not having been seen. Not a word of apology or explanation. The doctor was "running late", as the receptionist told me when I reminded them that the copay charge had to be reversed. If this is the amount of caring this physician has for his patients, a total disregard of anyone's time other than his own, I wonder what his medical care is like?

Any one who has anything bad to say about this guy is gonna get a visit from me, and it won't be a birthday visit. He spends all the time it takes to make you understand whats going on with your problems, there's not many of his type left.

I am very blessed to have this man as my pulmonary Dr. He was my mom's dr since he started in Attleboro. She trusted him above all other dr.s. He is truly a caring dr. and he tells you like it is and that is so important to me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr. Petit at Surdy Memorial Hospital in April 2018. I contracted bacterial phnemonia and went 2 the emergency room at Sturdy. He became my Doctor while was there from Aril 7th 2018-May 5th 2018. My pnemonia was so bad at this point Dr. Petit said the only way remove the fluid was 2 have surgury and had 2 have a tube put in 2 drane the fluid from my lungs. Idk who the surgeon who worked on me was but I ended up with post operative respitory failure and also got sepsis, this is where. After they took the tube out of my mouth that was helping me breath, Dr. Petit came in 2 remove the tube that was draining the fluid from my left lung. It took me a month 2 recover and was on alot of medication 2 make sure the pnemonia didn't return. Dr. Petit would come 2 check on me everday in the ICU. He was a very caring Doctor. I feel blessed 2 have had him as my Doctor, he and the surgeon saved my life!

I went to see him and was struggling to breathe at time of visit...he had me breathing better within one hour...he gave me a shot of something and a breathing treatment while there..
He is like a miracle worker...
