I recently had an appointment with Samatha Hamilton for my annual physical and lab work in preparation for an upcoming surgical procedure. Unfortunately, my experience was not satisfactory.

While the intake process was friendly and smooth, my interaction with Ms. Hamilton was disappointing. She did not introduce herself upon entering the room, and when my husband explained the purpose of my visit, she quickly and curtly responded, "I can't do that," stating that it was too soon and that I would need an order from the surgeon. No further or clarifying explanation was provided, and the communication was delivered in a terse manner. Oddly, she didn't ask how I was feeling or if I had any medical complaints. She performed a quick, perfunctory examination, asked if I needed any prescription refills, and that was it. We were ushered out without any further communication. I didn't even know that the person who saw me was, in fact, Samatha Hamilton. I was waiting for the next step and was shocked to learn that it was Ms. Hamilton who had just attended to me.

This lack of communication and abruptness added to my stress and disappointment. Having been a nurse for 21 years, I have never witnessed such a disrespectful attitude towards a patient. I am reaching out to provide feedback in the hopes that it will help improve patient interactions in the future.

Kristen is knowledgeable. She is up to date on treatments for Type 2 Diabetes. She also uses Eastern medicine too. She caring and compassionate. I would recommend her.

This place has really gone down since changing hands. I drove 45 minutes there from Port St. Lucie due to traffic I was 8 minutes late for my appointment and they refused to see me. I was told I had to reschedule. They did not care how far I had come for my appointment or that it was due to traffic which was beyond my control. Another new policy they have since changing hands is they will not see you in the office if you are sick. I don’t understand how someone who is sick can be properly diagnosed without doing cultures, listening to your lungs, you know a proper exam. It was so surprising to me that my own PCP would not see me last time I was sick. If you don’t want to be around sick people healthcare was not the field to get into! Time to find a new provider.

This has been my primary care facility since 2020 but after my last experience - I will be searching for a new primary care doctor.

I’ve been on the same medication since 2018 that treats my anxiety/OCD - after a recent change, my OBGYN requested that I double check my dosage with my primary care doctor to make sure dosage was still okay. After leaving a voicemail, a nurse called me back saying my doctor was going to ween me off completely within the next 4 weeks - hearing this, I was extremely concerned as this medication has made such a positive impact on my mental health - when asking questions for clarification, the nurse was extremely rude and I felt so discouraged.

I ended up calling the office manager about my experience and they said the nurse gave me the wrong information, and that I wasn’t being weened off - but when I picked up my prescription later that day from my pharmacy, it stated on the prescription bottle that I was in fact being weened off within 4 weeks.

A day later, I made a telehealth appointment through my insurance for a second opinion as I felt so uneasy about completely coming off my medication, and their unwillingness to take into consideration the history of my mental health.

The telehealth doctor completely disagreed with my primary care doctor’s recommendation to ween off - so I made an appointment with a local psychiatrist for a third opinion.

After submitting a written intake form to the psychiatrist regarding my situation - they got back to me immediately and scheduled a virtual appointment within the next 3 days for me to be seen.

Long story short, the psychiatrist confirmed that it’s safe for me to continue the same dose as I’ve been on since 2018 - and they even said it was extremely unsettling that it was even suggested to ween off completely.

I think it’s important to share my experience so that others are reminded to be your own advocate, especially regarding your mental health.

My psychiatrist will now oversee my medication moving forward and I will be finding a new primary care doctor due to their lack of compassion and consideration - I do not recommend this doctor’s office.

Unfortunately, the individual who confirmed my appointment was Natalie and is quite rude and abrupt, even ending the call abruptly when I asked what my appointment was for. I am taken aback by her lack of professionalism. I have spoken to her many times and each time she seems to be a bit more aggressive and rude.
I love NP Kristen Smith she’s amazing and understanding of my health! I will continue to come for my health but wanted to bring this to your attention so that appropriate steps can be taken to address the employee's behavior and provide them with retraining in professionalism.

as u can all see they apologized and said someone would be in touch, NO ONE HAS CALLED SO IF I WIND UP IN THE HOSPITAL BC OF ANY OF MY ISSUES I BROUGHT TO THIA DR, LETS SEE WHO WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH THEM, BC I KNOW THESE LUMPS WERE NOT HERE AND HE DISNT ASK WHERE HE LIGHTLY TOUCHED MY HEAD!!!!

I used to love the past drs I saw, Dr Pearl and Dr. Trivedi. However today I went in with what I deemed to be some serious issues as I all of a sudden developed a more pronounced ridge on my right side of forehead, along with dizziness, headaches and some recent vision issues and feeling just lousy. This Dr was very dismissive about EVERYTHING but getting LABS... He treated me like they used to treat women in the 70s n 80s as we're neurotic and need nerve pills!!! As a person with an autoimmune disease and having all my friends and relatives noticing this prominence of a ridge SUDDENLY SHOWING IN PICTURES AS A RIDGE THAT WAS NOT THERE 2 MONTHS AGO. Just ur skull!!!! No it's not and after all my legitimate concerns he ordered labs, and not to come back FOR 6 MONTHS!!!! HE WAS PRETENSIOUS, and DISMISSIVE. DR NICOSIA IS NOT SOMEONE ID RECOMMEND. He could have at least gotten a CT scan of my head just to be sure. About 8 yrs ago I had one and they found a lesion, then said it was enlarged virchow Robbins spaces, but I didn't bother telling him bc he made me feel diminutive and insignificant ....come back in 6 mos!!!!! I even sd something when checking out, 6 mos!!!!!!! What if my labs are abnormal i said, she said well u get ur labs at least 2 weeks before the follow up, ok I KNOW THAT. Even my husband thought he was not a very caring, nice physician and said he just seemed to placate me. So now where do I turn? Our Healthcare system is devoid of nice Drs that take us seriously and let us worry for 6 mos even for my lab labwork.

Love this doctor's office! The staff was so friendly and treated me with such care. Dr. Trivedi is an amazing doctor and I have never been so healthy, thanks to her. She not only addresses all my concerns but follows up and makes sure I am doing well. I would highly recommend this office and their staff to anyone who wants great health care.

Don’t agree with the bad reviews. I have been a patient for over 3 years. Sarah Mayer is my FNP and she is excellent. Can’t say enough good things about her. She listens, she takes her time and she allows me to take charge of my health and we discuss issues together. She gives her sound advice and direction and I follow her lead. My health has improved as a result and I couldn’t be happier. As far as the office staff, of course they are busy but they have never been rude and my prescription requests have been filled and my calls have been returned. Again, as a patient of 3 years I can assure to any prospective client that this office is efficient, courteous and my provider, Sarah is top notch. Very happy to have found TC Primary Care.
