Doctor Ellis is a very nice and thorough doctor. He listens and answers questions very well. He is compassionate and intelligent. I would rate him 5 star but the office and appointments are a very different experience. The phone is ALWAYS busy! I have never been able to get anyone on the phone. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. I've waited 3 hours for a 5 minute visit, and 1 hour has been the minimum wait every time. The waiting room has a VERY strong perfume scent that affects my sinuses the moment I walk in and I dont have allergies; note to those that do have asthma and allergies, be prepared to experience this for the hours you wait for your appointment. Other than that, I hope doctor ellis reads this and makes some changes with overbooking appointments, phone system, etc

Dr Ellis is the best. Girls that set up the appointments are horrible I had my appointment cancelled 4 months in a row because I wanted to see Dr Ellis and not the d assistant no calls Dr Ellis told me I could see him and when I went in they had changed much appointment to the assistant. I did not know until she came in the room. Still no results on my lung xrays. The office staff over steps there bonds. 4 cancelled appointment. 4 days getting off work. Never again.

First off, excellent doctor. Dr Ellis is a fine physician, never had any problem with him. On the other hand, the rest of the staff can be very rude and condescending. The office is not a family environment, they will make you leave if you bring your children even if you have no choice but to bring them. Called to schedule an appointment, told it was a certain day and time. When we got there they had no record of it. Called on a Monday to get get seen, they said come in Tuesday for a wall in between 9AM and 10AM ,.. we get there at 9:15 .. the office doesn't open until 10. Two hours later still not seen by the doctor. If you can get over the poor quality of service from the staff, the doctor is a great doctor. Otherwise do as we are now considering and move on ...

I made an appointment for my husband and myself at the same time and day. I took time off my job to report to this appointment. We did have our kids as we do not have a baby sitter in the middle of the day. One of the nurses noticed my son going to the restroom and asked us to leave. They stated children are not allowed in the lobby unless they have an appointment. I am extremely upset as this was a waste of time. They did not inform me of this when I scheduled my appointment. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone unless you are childless. I wouldn't want you to schedule an appointment and the babysitter backs out at the last minute!

Dr. Ellis, is the best hands down! I was a critically sick young lady when I first started going to see Dr. Ellis. He has always been known for a clean and sinus friendly office. As a heart patient it is appreciated. He took time to listen to me, review my history and my story. He immediately admitted me to the hospital and coordinated with my heart doctors to see about me. I am currently in need of a heart transplant and living on an LVAD as a support to substain life and he always takes good care of me. He has never shown me fear or worry about my situation. He has cared for my mother who was a challenge at times, but always respected her and keep her on task with her medical needs. I have sent him numerous people who complained their doctors didn't care about their medical problems or had time to listen. He is a praying physician and there are times when I needed just that to see me through because things medically didn't look promising on paper. Him and his beautiful wife will pray for and with you. As, for children being allow in the office, the sign is there probably for their medical safety I don't know. However, I do know my son has just turned 12 and he is part of my caregiving team as I have been going to that office for a long time. There have been a few occasions where I have brought him, and no one has ever been rude or hurtful to us. Every doctor's office has a flaw or two. Discuss it with the office manager or Dr. Ellis, he will listen. If you want a doctor who always has your best interest at heart and comes to the hospital to see his own patients, will help get services and equipment to assist you in your home he will go that stretch with and do follow ups to ensure things are done as prescribed. He is always on top of everything yearly you need. Phenix Medical Ministry is where you will find the best care ever under Dr. Daryl A. Ellis. This is my Testimony!
