Vanessa is by far the worst phlebotomist I have EVER experienced. We went in for my son’s blood draw after his two year old check up. We signed in and waited for at least ten minutes before being called in because nobody was checking in the sign in sheet despite the fact that there was no other patient waiting.Then she nonchalantly motioned for us to take a seat without explaining anything, did nothing to reassure my two year of son, who was terrified, looked like she wasn’t interested at all to help us. She couldn’t find his vein and kept on poking him until I finally had enough and told her to stop. THIS IS BEYOND INCOMPETENT, it’s also lacking any kind of good customer service.
She did call another phlebotomist in, Dolores, who was much more empathetic and actually made an effort to make my son more comfortable. Compared to Kaiser and Hoag, this is the worst office I’ve ever been to, and definitely do not plan on returning.
