Everything about this truck station is amazing its very big very clean bathrooms and it has a lot of nice things but the employees are very rude they don’t have a very welcoming personality or anything I recommend the owner to change the employees for this station or everything is amazing!!

Parking here seems to be full all the time. Especially in the evening. Great place, though, plenty of restaurants to walk to. Couple hotels as well.

Most unpleasant supposed truck stop area I have gone to. So I will say the gas prices were lower than other parts of the area if you are planning to stop to rest even for a brief period of time not the best place to stop. I actually had the unpleasant experience of parking in the handicap spot to use bathroom then rest for a few before heading on. Unfortunately one of their employees Carlos was pressure washing around the gas stations when I parked ... then he moved the compresdor in the adjacent handicap spot blocking others from using the space and put right next to my vehicle.... VERY LOUD ... then started pressure washing towards my vehicle and glaring towards me. There were plenty of other places to put the compressor then as I was pulling away to leave took a picture in case myvehicle was damaged... and then Carlos decided to confront me asking me what myproblem was and why I took his picture. Very unprofessional and not the way to treat your customers

Reserved parking is all the way in the back so you pay to be far away from the store. There are only 3 stalls in the bathroom, so just go somewhere else for your business. Hard to find the bathroom since there are no signs indicating where they are. The bathrooms are also dirty. There isn't enough space for you to wait for the shower and seats are uncomfortable.

This store has one of the rudest employees I have ever met in my entire life, and as a truck driver I’ve been to a LOT of different places. I was there at around 2:40 on 10/15/24
Lee was extremely unprofessional and rude to not only me but other customers, including a sweet man who didn’t speak much English. The card reading system went down, which is annoying but i understand that it’s not the employees fault so I was gladly going to use my pilot points as to not be a bother. Lee was screaming that they could only accept cash or pilot points and when a customer who didn’t speak much English tried using card he screamed in his face about how he already told everyone in line that they couldn’t use card. Me being someone who has been on the other side of the counter was disgusted by this behavior and unfortunately my face tells all, I gave him a dirty look and raised my eyebrows because it was so disappointing. I know this isn’t the pilot standard. Eventually when it was my turn in line, no one behind me at this point because I was being considerate and letting others in front of me because I did have quite a few items and they only had one or two, Lee looked directly at me and gave me a smirk announcing that he had to use the restroom. He knew what he was doing.
On a positive note, the other lady ( i unfortunately didn’t catch her name) who working there was so kind, apologetic and pretty. She deserves a raise! She was handling customers and the card issue like a champ. Please give her a raise and tell Lee that he needs to check his attitude 😊

I’ve been waiting for shower more than an hour, when I checked inside there were 4 showers uncleaned and nobody is assigned to clean those showers. As they know professional driver don’t have much time to wait. Waiting for half an hour is justified. But this is very disappointing when we are on the road and have to deal with this bcoz the shortage of staff or they don’t want to work.
I don’t recommend any body to go and wait for showers here.

I am a commercial driver and frequent truck stops across the country, but the Pilot Truck Stop in Castaic is particularly concerning. The gas station is very difficult to access because food trucks are parked directly in front of it, blocking smooth entry and exit.

Even more alarming, some of these vendors are using open flames right in front of the gas station, often near propane tanks. This is a major safety hazard, especially for drivers transporting flammable materials.

Additionally, the presence of these vendors attracts a lot of pedestrians, which creates another layer of danger when maneuvering large trucks in and out of the lot. Parking here feels highly insecure and unsafe under these circumstances.

For the safety of commercial drivers and the general public, I strongly urge Pilot management and local authorities to address these issues and ensure the area around the gas station is kept clear and safe.

This driver has been my experience throughout the country. Customer service is garbage. They don't know what hospitality is. They are very indecent. In the parking lots on the side of the place, people in commercial minitrucks don't let them rest. They call you a tow truck. For me, this was my worst experience. They work to screw you, not to give you their services and let you rest, as is normal in the rest of the country. Please change those ignorant bosses that this driver has. You will have better results.
