I called to schedule an appointment with Dr Gill, I got appointment the next day. Dr Gill and her team delivered an exceptional care, she listened to my concerns and answered all my questions patiently and give alternative suggestions/advice. Her staff are helpful during setting up appointment and intake. I’d recommend Placer Family Medicine.

Are they completely devoid of bureaucracy/red tape? No, but who in this field is? Dr. Gill & her staff took the time to listen to my concerns & thoroughly explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Their attention to detail & compassionate approach made me feel comfortable during the entire appointment & afterwards. Sometimes communication can be a little slow, but it's 110% wort it for the level of care I receive.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Dr. Gill's practice after having had some time to reflect. Initially, I had reservations based on the application process, which I found to be somewhat exhausting and unprofessional. I encountered unhelpful attitudes from staff, which made me seriously consider seeking care elsewhere. However, I decided to continue with the process, hoping things would improve.

Unfortunately, my overall experience with the office, has been disappointing, due to several systemic issues that I feel need to be addressed.

Over the course of the past nine months, I have found the office’s appointment scheduling and management practices to be highly disorganized and, at times, unnecessary. Many appointments seemed to be scheduled with little regard for necessity.

Additionally, I have had multiple instances where I was contacted 30-45 minutes before my scheduled appointment to "check in," only to then be informed that I would need to wait up to an hour to see the doctor.

Another significant issue is the office's outdated and fragmented communication systems. For example, I was required to use multiple different platforms for video consultations, receive calls from one number that could not be returned, and communicate with various email addresses that did not appear to be integrated with one another. This lack of cohesion across platforms made it difficult to manage scheduling, test results, and general communication with the office.

In terms of prescription management, I was instructed to email every two weeks for a refill request, yet some medications (such as blood pressure medication) were only refilled for 30-day intervals, which raised concerns about the office's procedures. Additionally, appointments were sometimes scheduled without my request or consent, further adding to the frustration.

There was also a recent situation where the office was closed due to air conditioning issues, yet other areas of the building appeared to be operational. During this time, only virtual appointments were available, which added to the sense of disorganization.

The inefficiencies in the office’s operations, the lack of coordination across systems, and the overall frustration with long wait times and unnecessary appointments have unfortunately led me to rate my experience as a 1out of 5.

I hope this feedback can be useful in improving the practice's processes for the benefit of future patients.

I would give zero if I could. It has nothing so do with the Dr herself, but the way her office handles new patients. I jumped through the hoopes of fill out the the new patient paperwork before anyone would talk to me. Waited three weeks no response. Emailed the office email provided on the website, no response. Place a call to their voicemail cuz that's the only way you can reach them, no response. So I figure if this is how they treat new patients, I would hate to see how they treat existing patients. Think twice before accepting this Dr.as your primary PCP. Again, she maybe amazing, but whoever is running her office will not give new patients the time of day. Apparently, per my providers website, she is accepting new patients. Buyer be aware
