I went in for a basic screening appointment and was charged for it fully because the doctor didn't want to code it properly and my insurance covers this type of work 100%. Not to mention how rude the staff were to me when I was trying to get my problem solved. I value my peace and I'm not broke, so I paid, but I feel bad for those that need to see the doctor and are not as fortunate as I am. This country treats people horribly when it comes to health care and sadly, Planned Parenthood is part of the problem, not the solution. I will not be going to Planned Parenthood in the future.

The 4 ladies who helped me with my procedure were awesome! Very kind and thorough the whole time. I felt very comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend this place (the only clinic in anchorage anyways).

Amazing people! Ada, Denise, Jen and the two ladies who did my procedure were all so so amazing and made me feel beyond comfortable. Helped me through EVERYTHING and were the most comforting and caring people ever. I was so anxious at the beginning of my visit and I left smiling and without ANY anxiety. Love love love this facility and the people.

After years of trusting Planned Parenthood clinics in various states, and having great experiences, this office by far let me down. The provider seemed knowledgeable but after her telling me that women over 40 need an annual Pap smear done every 5 years-basically discouraging me from doing what I knew was right and having my “annual” done. After talking to a REAL doctor, it’s actually every 3 years. 5 years between tests could easily cost someone their LIFE. She did have me perform the self swab for the 3 major STI’s prevalent in this area, to which I never received the results for. I logged into the patient portal, which did not show the results, nor that the test had even been performed. I requested a response through the portal, which I’d be surprised if I got an answer back since it looks like the test was never ordered.

Where did my sample go is my question?

I Will NEVER go back as it’s obvious they don’t give a hoot about the public’s safety or my health. Extremely DISAPPOINTED with this office.

I had my first appointment with them yesterday and can't say enough good things about this place. The clinic was nice and clean, staff were friendly, care was thorough and prompt, and I felt I had all of my needs met and questions answered. Perhaps my only complaint is that they are stretched very thin with appointment times due to a lack of providers in the area, as I've had to schedule my appointments about 2 weeks out, but that's to be expected here. I will be going back to them for continuous care.

I HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE HERE!!! I met JaNice, MO, and Nioa they were all so welcoming and made me feel super comfortable. I most definitely recommend them for your sexual health needs.

I usually love this place but I want to offer a warning.
I'm a stay at home mother with a 3yr old and went in to my scheduled appointment today. They refused to see me because he was with me citing COVID protocols. Then had the nerve to ask me if I could reschedule to when he wasn't with me. No, I can't, I am his primary caretaker and anyone that could watch him works during their operating hours.
They tried to offer a list of alternative providers, which I called and none of them provide the services I need AND none of them took my insurance..
I've taken him in with me to appointments here before COVID and it wasn't an issue. I've taken him to multiple (30+) hospital appointment the past 3 months for my MIL who has cancer and he has NEVER been an issue.
I found the perfect place to go where I could keep up with my reproductive health and now I am back to square one.
I don't feel its right to deny someone medical care because they have a young child with them, it felt extremely wrong.

I'm surprised at the negative review. I've been to this office twice recently. Once in January and once in February 2018. My wait time was less than 8 minutes each time. I was weighed, had my blood pressure taken, given the cloth to cover myself, and within a few minutes, a nurse came in and went over things with me about my health. Both times I had great nurses, knowledgeable, helpful, morale builders. I will go back as I do for my annual exam. They send over the form for me to get a mammogram, and those people call me the next day. I'm very impressed.
