The employees don’t seem very experienced at this location. Came in for a simple std screening and was told to provide a urine sample. I provided it then left shortly after. About half an hour later they called me saying I was supposed to wait in the waiting room. How was I supposed to know if I wasn’t given any guidance. Now they rescheduled me to come in two weeks from now. I will be going elsewhere.

I went in to book an appointment at the front that I had to wait two weeks for. The receptionist booked me for the wrong appointment and mislead me extremely on what the appointment was set for. Then the first 'nurse' I spoke to Made me feel stupid for seeking help and not knowing about the symptoms of my pregnancy and how aboritions work to the point I was brought to tears and she was heavily pushing a surgical abortion on me when I was just asking to go over my options and be educated. I was already pressured and booked for a surgical abortion before I even knew how the process worked. As I am in tears asking to speak to a Nurse Practitioner, she brings out the manager who shown no remorse or care about the treatment I received and continued to be very stern, and annoyed that I am asking for questions about my options for terminating a pregnancy desperate for answers. AGAIN I WENT TO SPEAK TO A PROFESSIONAL NP ABOUT MY PREGNANCY NOT THE MANAGER. After an hour of trauma, listening to the ladies talk shit and laugh about me in the hallway, they bring in a NP who thought I was there for Nausa medication when I never once stated I wanted meds. She then explained the processes to me in a calm caring manner. ALONG WITH TELLING ME THE MANAGER GAVE ME THE WRONG INFORMATION. Saying an at home abortion is 4-8 weeks of heavy bleeding and miscarriage. This is an extremely catty environment the women their don't care about you and it seems very pushy on the most expensive options and meds. After I said multiple times I was there for education and to check my health, not for medication. I have had terrible experiences at both Planned Parenthoods in the city of chicago and honestly have better more caring appointments at other clinics, even the government ones.

These nurses don’t have the answers to most questions. ChatGPT answered my questions better than the people I talked to here. They also made me come back in for a vaccine that they didn’t end up having on the day of my appointment. Go to literally any other Planned Parenthood, PLEASE!

Given the bad reviews, I felt it necessary to say what a wonderful experience I had. My appointment didn't start right away mostly due to it being my first time there (paperwork and insurance, etc), but after that it was a breeze. Everyone is SUPER friendly. Unbelievably friendly, nice, professional. They are very thorough, thoughtful and take great care!

I had to switch offices and this location was definitely very efficient. The ladies in reception were so friendly and on top of it. I was here for a total of ~20 minutes, my CNA gave me all the info I needed!

I've never had a better experience than here at Planned Parenthood. Their location is very convenient and their service is exceptional. I was very scared during my first visit, but everyone (front desk workers, nurses, nurse practitioner) was so nice and patient with me. I would never go to any other location in the future because they are great!

I had a great experience at this facility and felt the need to write a positive review after being personally scared by all of the negatives. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and I had no wait for my appointment. The office is very clean and welcoming, and there were no protestors.

I just moved back to chicago and could not get an appointment at a primary OB as a new patient for 2 months, and was in need of birth control. Planned Parenthood got me an appointment for the same week. This place and the whole team was great. Would highly recommend.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The staff seemed extremely under qualified to be providing any sort of service and also was lacking in emotional intelligence. Go to the Near North Health Center instead if you can, they are amazing there. I scheduled a last minute appointment at this location today, spent money going there, and they refused to see me.
