Visited this location a few times, always pleasant. Today’s experience was HORRID. I’m nauseous & vomiting, trying to wrangle my 3 y/o & make it to my 11:10 appt. I called the office to inform them I’m running 7 minutes late, they said there’s a 15 min grace period. I show up, receptionist gave major attitude & stated they may not be able to see me. The office is empty, only a million employees behind the desk, wth. Finally see the clinician, she’s clueless as I don’t know what & unempathetic about my situation. They sent me to San Rafael earlier in the week for a procedure that the dr did incorrectly & I’m suffering from the consequences of. This was my follow up, & it was just as bad. Why are they in business if they aren’t competent in women’s health? Please visit an actual doctor/hospital. Never planned parenthood

I have been visiting Planned Parenthood in San Ramon for a decade, and they are nothing short of incredible. I adore this location and the team. Over the years, they've provided warm, safe, and professional care, and I am so deeply thankful to each employee there. Most recently, the amazing Debbie (along with the lovely Mary) provided the best care to me that I could possibly imagine. Thank you so much to the hardworking, caring folks at Planned Parenthood San Ramon; your compassion and work are appreciated beyond what words can convey.

Really great, attentive staff - very clean facility and a pleasure to go to. Had a mid day appointment and was seen quickly. As per some reviews - any publicly funded healthcare facility could have wait times for any number of reasons including number of patients and/or understaffing - this is not the fault of practitioners.

Had a great experience - will choose to go here for future visits.

This is my second time visiting this location. The first time was amazing this time not so good very unprofessional running out of medication trying to offer me different medication that I’ve never taken before. Didn’t even tell me my Test results until I had to ask them for it I will not be visiting this location ever again. Never had this issue at the Walnut Creek location. It’s conveniently located near my job, but I will not be returning. I suggest no one comes to this location or return to this location. The staff is very unprofessional.

LOCATION: This location is easily found, right off the main road. It's in a large medical building at the base of the San Ramon hills.

PARKING: Parking is easily accessible and free. There are multiple lots you can park in, as it's located in a large business park.

PICKETERS: I've seen picketers here once and then never again. That was many years ago now.

OFFICE CONDITION: This is hands down the nicest, cleanest, most updated office I've ever gone to. Everything (think: bathrooms, exam rooms, lobby, wait room, hallways, doctor desk locations) is spotless. Not to mention it's all very updated and new.

FRONT DESK STAFF: I love the front desk staff here - very smiley, very kind. They help you fill out your paperwork, answer the phones politely and are not exasperated when you have questions.

WAIT TIME: Wait time is the fastest I've ever had. I walked in 5 minutes early, checked in, and was called to my exam room in less than 5 minutes. The nurse did the typical pre-appointment health checks and questions. The doctor was in my room for my appointment less than 10 minutes after the nurse left. This has happened consistently, every time I've been here.

DOCTORS & NURSES: The doctors and nurses at this location are unbelievably professional and kind. They care to know about you and help you - you're a human being in their eyes, not just another number to be seen. In fact, a doctor I'd seen previously saw me as her patient again weeks later. Not only did she remember me, but she remembered the things we spoke about and specifically asked how I was in reference to those things.

REFERRAL TEAM: This team is why I docked stars from this location. Not once, not twice, not three times, BUT FOUR TIMES did their referral team assure me my referral for a breast exam (due to a concerning lump) was sent to the office where I needed to be scanned. It's been FOUR WEEKS of calling back and forth between this referral team and the location my exam is to be done. Planned Parenthood assures me they've sent it, the other office assures me they didn't receive it. Neither office is willing to take the time to talk to one another and the receiving office refuses to book an apt without a referral. Therefore, I've been ping ponged from office to office and I have yet to receive my exam. I'm frustrated and exhausted that a patient would have to play monkey in the middle to get a breast exam set. Highly unprofessional.

*EDIT: Come to find out, the receiving office had the wrong fax number listed on their profile. Nothing was going through because of their error NOT Planned Parenthood. My nurse, Louise, updated this and then handled the situation seamlessly. Her grace and kindness to me while I had a less than stellar attitude was more than I could've asked for.

TLDR: This location is easy to find with great parking, impeccably clean and has great staff (front desk, nurses and doctors alike). By far the best location I've been to.

This was by far the friendliest clinic I have ever been in. The receptionist was so helpful and patient, the technician was so considerate and comforting, and my Dr gave me her undivided attention. I tipped $60 in one of their tip boxes as I was heading out the door, I was so satisfied with my overall visit.

DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY APPOINTMENTS HERE!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS PLANNED PARENTHOOD!
They open at 8:30 everyday of the week, I made my appointment for 9:30 on a monday weeks in advance just to find out no one is working and the doors are locked!!!! I had the day off of work so I thought why not get something to eat and come back in a couple hours and see if someone opened the door or was just runnijg really late. WHAT DO YOU KNOW 2 HOURS LATER STILL LOCKED AND CLOSED!! ITS 11:30 THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN OPEN FOR 3 HOURS BY NOW! DONT EVEN HAVE THE DESENCY TO CALL ME AND CANCELL OR RESCHEDULE. IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD! I DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO LET MY ANGER AND FRUSTRATION OUT AND LET THEM KNOW HOW PATHETIC AND STUPID THIS BRANCH IS RAN OTHER THAN POSTING THIS REVIEW.
