The facility is very nice and the staff is polite and professional. They have a good record of seeing me on time. The medical care I have received has always been excellent and continues to be. Their communications, particularly the supporting technology, could use some help. The automated questionnaire that I needed to complete for my most recent appointment is very "clunky" in how it works. It also malfunctioned, not displaying everything it should have, so I had to complete it manually at the office. Then I received a "mystery text" from "rxinform.org" asking me to clink on a link to go to their site and review my prescriptions. Never heard of them--it looked like the classic scam to get me to click on something that could compromise my data or computer. I eventually found out that it was affiliated with Prairie although it only displayed one of my three prescriptions--no idea why the other two were not there. As a patient, I was never told about this new party to the process or what to expect and I still don't understand. They have an online "patient portal" that I used to use successfully to communicate with them. Now they prefer to use "Klara" which is text-based but doesn't seem to work as well, at least not for me. As of a few weeks ago the portal was still up and running but apparently no one looks at it as something I submitted did not get addressed. But I don't see doctors for technology, I see them for my health and Prairie has performed very well in that regard. That kind of relationship is very valuable to me. I am hopeful that they will address these tech issues to bring them up to the same high-quality experience that they deliver with their medical care.

My visit was very helpful, Chris, the NP exceeded my expectations. He was knowledgeable and offered practical approaches to try.
The billing is awful, no one at the front desk could answer my billing questions. I had to call their billing office, wait on hold for over 5 minutes, leave a message, wait for the return call in order to understand what I was being charged for prior to my appt. Thankfully the billing clerk was kind and helpful.

Chris Strain has made all our lives easier by helping to take care of this mama and her kiddos. Chris has helped me to maintain my sanity while dealing with mental health stuff that comes and goes with changing hormones and the facts of life with six kids. He goes over and above to relate with, and understand his patients. They are super lucky to have him at this practice.

The (young) doctor was very good, listening and providing all the options for my care. The back office staff was a little distracted by training new personnel, and so were not overly personable, but I expect that when training is completed they will be able to put more effort into their patients. The front desk staff were warm and personable. The office is comfortable and welcoming. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with this care team.

The office is very inviting and comfortable that it puts you at ease for your doctor's visit. The secretaries are kind, courteous, and professional. The care that the nurse and doctor was absolutely excellent. I feel very comfortable and confident to have this establishment as my doctor's office!!! 😊
