Was scheduled for a sports massage by a physical therapist, had to wait longer for the gal to come back. Called to confirm my appointment and the front desk didn't know the numbers to their own departments. Called again a week later and everything was good to go. Day of appointment, I think they're just assessing me so I wait for the sports massage that never happens. Turns out they just scheduled me for whatever they felt like. There are no massage professionals there. Weird experience.

Gunner is amazing!! He actually cares about you and he remembers what you talked about in previous appointments! He is very attentive, actually listening to you when you talk and he doesn't rush you through your appointment. I feel like he has accomplished more for me in two appointments than my previous Doctor did in the several years that I was seeing him.
The front desk staff are also super friendly and always helpful. Overall, highly satisfied.

My first visit with doc was great.
We had a communication issue on the meds and supplying me with testing kit for my diabetes. I used my wife's kit until I could get my own. Other then that, I really liked my new doctor and look forward to seeing him again.

The lab has to go through the orders manually, which takes a lot of time away from the registration desk. The system changed so they had to put all the orders back in manually. I have waited in the labs upstairs at the hospital sometimes pretty lengthy. Then I needed to take an x-ray and they couldn’t find the orders, so now I’m currently working on getting the x-ray orders found.
Made an appointment for my husband at the new spinal care which we had to wait for the appointment quite some time and then they did nothing for him. Absolutely nothing and sent him away and we don’t even know what’s going on. I actually have never had really good luck at this hospital, I can’t get a primary care physician. I have been trying for quite some time in the hospital has quite a lot to be desired.
I recently took my husband to the emergency because he fell as we noticed waiting in the lobby. The lady was bleeding out her side. This was her second time back in the same day, and her stomach was bleeding internally and leaking out a hole and the side and they let her sit there Over an hour bleeding and that same day there was a lady in Dire Straits pain. She was holding a towel over her mouth so she could muffle her scream as she lays sat there in pain. We got up and walked out. I have been diagnosed there with being bloated from gas and my daughter argued with them and so a real physician came in and they put me in emergency for 20 pound tumor . I could go on and on about the experiences I’ve had my daughter has had and my friend son died there because they confused the medicine orders that UC Davis had given them. I believe they’re too overloaded, poor management and not a caring a group of people in the emergency room , and this is a Christian hospital. I wonder who’s running it. Because it’s not the Adventist they must’ve hired the outside source to run it and it’s poorly lacking compassion. I’m sure there are good people working in there when it’s easy job but I’ve seen a lot of interesting stuff go down , and they can’t handle it a lot of improperly people staffed in positions. I’m sure there’s a lot of good in there, but not enough to outweigh all the mistakes that have been made and they claim their hospital. I’m sure they fudge a lot of paperwork for their benefit.

Dr abid is very thorough and takes the time roto get to know you and doesn’t mind giving you the proper meds that you require but doesn’t screw around with opioids seems to be helpful and informed as to what happens when you are taking meds for entertainment or for healthy reasons

Over all I would say the care through adventist health primary care is more than sufficient. They are compassionate, thorough and promtly inform paitens of test results. Im very relieved to finally find Dr Barlow. He takes the time to listen, and is responcive to concerns. Thank God for the good care I've received at Primary Care!
However I would absolutely NOT RECOMEND Dr Devoe Ear Eyes Nose and throat specialist. I've never in my life experienced such poor care. He, and his nurse Stephanie, and his front office staff are absolutely rude, careless, and just plain treat their patients with disrespect and arrogance. EVERY INTERACTION IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I have to wonder what exactly is going on with these people... something is VERY off. Kind of reminds me of the behavior of some the old ER Staff during the 80's.... the ones who got quietly fired... i personally knew 8 of them. I've lived in this area since 1977, and I have been friends and neighbors with at least a dozen adventist health doctors and had several top admin as clients over the years... I've seen alot. Steer clear of Doctor Devoe's office at all cost. Based on my experience over the last year i conclude, he cares nothing about the well being of his patients, and exudes distaine and arrogance at every visit. If I wasn't so seriously ill, and had any money or energy left I'd be retaining a malpractice attorney!

Waste of time. Best appointment I have had in ten years. Then I was sent to the Pavilion for blood work. Seven days later no blood has been drawn. Defeats the purpose of finding out what is wrong with me. Six attempts and being told twice that the orders are there. Still nothing. Tomorrow 11/12/2024 will be my last attempt.

Well, I went to meet my primary care physician. He listened to me. I think he truly cares about his patience. What else do you want me to say?
