Relatively few reviews here and most are several years old, so I'm compelled to share my recent experiences.

I find the Providence system, in general, to be forthright and fair. My experience with them spans two states and about 7 years.

At Providence Family Medicine North I was able to establish care as a new patient in a reasonable time frame - this was something that I found surprisingly challenging when moving to the Spokane area a few years ago.

My provider is Dr. Ryan Massoud; my experiences with him and his support team have all been positive. Fortunately I have few doctor visits annually, so when I do, I go in with a list of concerns. Both my intake nurse and Dr. Massoud address each item on my list thoroughly. I don't feel rushed and my questions are addressed until I feel ready to move on. The vibe is one of kindness and respect.

Between appointments I have had great success in communicating with the team via the MyChart portal. Responses are quick and comprehensive.

Wait times have been reasonable.

I feel comfortable with and well-cared-for by this practice.

They use predatory billing practices and are not transparent about what treatments they are "providing". I went in as a new patient needing a primary care physician because they said they were taking new patients and in my network. I expected to pay zero dollars because of my good insurance. I received a VERY large bill for two reasons:
1. They were not in my network
2. They use EM billing codes with the modifier 25 in excess, which allows them to bill for multiple consultations under one visit.

I was billed for a primary care visit checkup, new patient intake evaluation, and diagnosis for a condition I went in knowing I have had my entire life needing physician for. I was also billed for smoking cessation counseling - not something I wanted or needed - which entails the doctor spending exactly 180 seconds explaining why smoking is bad and that you should quit. All of this was billed out of network. Using EM billing code modifiers is common, but this was intentionally deceptive. Upon protesting the $474 I had to pay in addition to my insurance company, they generously lowered the billing rate for the new patient evaluation by 80 bucks (sarcasm).
Quality of the doctor's service was not bad, except that he intentionally tacked on as many things as could be slipped into a bill for an annual checkup so it is hard to respect a health care provider in that case. The second star is because most people don't take bitter one star reviews seriously (myself included).

Never met a doctor so delusional as Dr. Klopsch. While he makes probably triple or even more of what I make (someone who is in the working class). he has the audacity to tell me to quit my job after I asked about the possibilities of being on limited duty because of my anxiety and migraines due to me putting between 70-100+ hrs a week (forgot to mention my pancreatic attacks as well). I love my job itself and the fact that my job includes benefits/pension…it’s my career but I need protection for my mental health as well as physical and safety. He rushed me out as soon as he could after making me wait 45 min for my appt, he didn’t care to see me he just wanted to talk about my anxiety meds. When I brought up this concern about my health and work he went on a tirade about how he was uncomfortable and that I just need to put my notice in and explained where the exit of his office was. It was so disheartening and made my wife cry after the appt. I do want to mention that Kelly Greives has been a blessing to other family members and I hope her outlook on health isn’t spoiled by the pompous and soulless doctors in that hospital.

I am rather disappointed after my mom's last appointment. We brought up a couple things to the doctor, and we got snapped at because of it. He could have said the exact same words in a different tone and it would have been better. Unfortunately, because we were snapped at and because the doctor and staff never responded to the message I sent afterwards, my mom doesn't want to go back anymore. I can only imagine the stress that doctors are under with Covid, and he may have been just as exhausted as the rest of us, but he should check the attitude at the door when he goes into work.

I am giving this place 2 stars because it is a hit or miss. Some of the staff are super kind and other staff members are absolutely horrible to speak to. I always have anxiety when showing up or calling to make an appointment because I am worried about dealing with a rude staff member. Dr. Grieves is nice, but she hasn't helped me take care of any of my health issues, and she speaks to me like I am a 5 year old. Your experience here depends on what staff member you are speaking with.

My rating is for the 4th floor suite 440 , but not for anybody that works there except Dr. Hudon. I have never had a male doctor for the mere fact I find them 100% less compassionate , their bed side manner is terrible , and they seem to always treat women like they are lesser. Dr. Hudon absolutely justified my feelings about male doctors today at my " meet & greet " visit. I wanted to get help with my anxiety & migraines with which I have suffered with my whole life ; but apparently I was asking this person the world. When asking me what medication my previous doctor prescribed , I couldn't remember the name and he couldn't find it under my chart; come to find out when speaking with my pharmacist after my divorce and my last name change my charts did not merge like they normally would .. hence why he couldn't view my past medications ..but he told me I was basically making up the fact that I had ever taken medicine in the past to help with my anxiety and migraines .. yet when i now have 5+ pages printed off by my pharmacist as well as signed by her. I called the doctors office back and spoke with his assistant who still proceeded to tell me I was wrong I asked to be removed from his care , because I don't want to be in the care of someone whom wants to call me a liar. Also per Dr. Hudon to help any of my problems I need to exercise and lose weight , that would help me out immensely ( I am 5 ft 6 in & i weigh 140) didn't realize I was overweight. Needless to say he spoke down to me and acted as if I was asking for narcotics. Reading about his overview of his past he was an officer in the the navy , to which I am forever grateful for his service to our country. But his service as a doctor are not needed. I left in tears and have made different appointments to meet with different doctors. My ending goal is to find someone my family can come to , I would never subject my children to this unkind man.

I'm surprised to see the bad reviews. The staff at Providence are warm and professional. Scheduling is easy and the Doctors on call are easy to get a hold of. I have asthma and my prescriptions have always been well taken care of. I see Dr. Breen and she and her nurse, Tracy, are superb. Warm, professional, knowledgeable and kind.
I chose Providence when my husband and I decided to start trying to conceive. Now I'm in my third trimester and have been happy with Providence the whole way. I chose Dr. Breen by the recommendation of one of their very kind and professional scheduling assistants. She saw me before I conceived and I liked her a lot. A month later I was pregnant, so I've seen Dr. Breen at Providence routinely since the beginning of November 2017. Visiting the doctor has always given me a bit of anxiety but I have always been warmly greeted and cared for with the utmost respect and professionalism at Providence. I have recommended Dr. Breen to a pregnant friend and would definitely recommend Providence to family and friends.
