I just found out which Hospital I was taken to so this review is way past due.

In Dec of 2017, I was taken to the ER because I was puking for the previous 12 hours and losing consciousness. I was rushed right back when I arrived and I received excellent care from the ER nurse assigned to me. I had no idea what was wrong with but I did know they were giving me lots of fluids. Eventually I was admitted, still not knowing what was wrong with me. It wasn't until day 3, after seeing a very rude doctor, that I asked a nurse what was wrong with me. She looked at me like I was an idiot and told me that I was diabetic, but that I knew that because I was supposed to be on metformin. I most certainly did not know any of that. So, without running a GAD antibody test, they diagnosed me as type 2 and sent me home with metformin and long acting insulin.

It took me almost three years, struggling with my A1c and daily blood sugar before an actual endocrinologist took a look at me, ordered a GAD antibody test, and confirmed that I was most definitely type 1.

This hospital's and that rude doctor's negligence meant I went nearly 3 years without properly treating my diabetes. I hope the fact that I'm writing this almost 8 years later demonstrates that I'm still really pissed off about it.

I am very grateful to all the medical staff here at 5 Northwest. They are very professional and patient. took good care of my mother for 40 days.Carl W.Buckhorn Is a great doctor. He would listen patiently and analyze the condition carefully instead of hurrying to leave.but Case manager Patty she Is a cold heart and rude woman!Jessica Nickerson is way better than Patty!Be good at the communication. This is a very good hospital. However, apart from the management, it seems that they only care about your insurance.4 days after discharge, my mother returned to the ER.Without my permission my mother was transferred to another hospital!! But I still would give 5 stars to the work of medical staff!thank you all!!

This facility has become SO impersonal!
They tell you to request refills on ‘my chart’ and wait 3 to 5 business days & then message you through the clunky app that you have to call! Which is it? Can’t get a simple answer!
They really screwed me over after a major injury, giving me conflicting diagnoses!
They left me with NO pain medication after major surgery over a long weekend!
Nobody calls you back or seems to care at all!
MY CHART is cold, impersonal and just CLUNKY! God help the elderly with no help!
And nobody answers the phone anymore? What happened to patient care and customer service? $$$$

I arrived here 15 here 15 minutes ago with real bad headache, dizziness and numbness on my upper left scalp. So far I was already taken the vitals, taken blood for testing and doctor Hon I think was his name already spoke to me about they think the problem might be, all of these within the first 15 minutes, and Dr. Hon said they will also do a MRI scan just to make sure nothing is wrong with brain. I am writing this review as the events are happening, and the reason why I decided to do this is cuz based in past experiences at ER so far at Saint J. Hospital I waited more than 3 hours to have my vitals and even spoke to the doctor there, and comparing to Kaiser Permanent in Anaheim which it took me 8 hours to even be admitted to a room with a bad injury from work, overall and so far, I am amazed in how fast and efficient they have treated me so far, now I’m awaiting for the CT Scan/MRI it’s taking a little while but hey I was already administered medicine for the symptoms and I feel much better than when I got here. I will continue to update this review as things develop, but so far I have to give this hospital a 5 star comparing to others.

I thought I was in Labor they kept me for 3 days to sure I was ok during that time I seen Dr. Buchanan, Dr. Du and Dr. Su when I say the best doctor patient experience I’ve ever received I felt as if I’ve known them for years they answered any questions, provided comfort and never made me feel rushed or as I was being kicked out.

I returned the next month when I was actually in Labor and Labor and Delivery Lolli, her hospitality her above and beyondness to try and help me deliver naturally, she literally tried everything possible until I just ended up giving up but with her and christabel assistance they tried their best! Gina, she listened and did not judge she went out of her way and made sure provided what she could even though I ended up having to leave and came back 20 minutes later I work in healthcare so I definitely understand that rules are rules! I wasn’t in active labor the first time l.

Dr. Hawkins amazing Dr. it was my first time meeting her, and I’m one of those I have to research everything, she was very patient. Explained all of the ins and outs the ups and downs and possibilities. Even though things did not go as planned with having a natural birth we ended up doing a C- Section and when I say Dr. Hawkins and the rest of the team executed the delivery of my baby girl my stitching looks amazing, the surgical team did it all effortlessly. Dr. Chin the anesthesiologist I only had a brief encounter with him but he was also very kind.

The postpartum team, Kayleigh, Courtney,
Liliane, Jessica, Tam and Jasmine no specific order were amazing!!! Went above and beyond to make sure I was ok as well as baby girl !! One thing I really enjoyed about the team here they all worked together a lot of hospital have this chain of command mentality like one is better than the other from the cleaning staff the doctors they all worked as one! I’ve been to many hospitals and a lot of them have this well that’s the CNA job or I don’t do this mentality, that is definitely not what I experienced here. Great job St. Jude !!! Great staff

I cannot forget lollis HOT CHOCOLATE the best hot chocolate around

This is literally the best clinic I’ve ever been to. All sanitary standards are strictly observed, and the doctors and medical staff truly understand their mission. They focus not just on earning money but genuinely on treating patients as thoroughly and as long as necessary, consulting with various specialists across the United States when needed.

Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA - A Stellar Experience

I recently had the unfortunate experience of having my father-in-law admitted to the ER at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. Despite his urgent condition, the ER wait time was surprisingly short. The doctor on duty was thorough, attentive, and ordered all the necessary tests and scans to accurately diagnose his problem.

Following his admission, my father-in-law underwent surgery the next day. Throughout his hospital stay, the hospital staff was consistently caring and attentive. Medications and tests were administered promptly, and we felt confident in the quality of care he was receiving.

Based on our experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Providence St. Jude Medical Center. The ER and hospital staff deserve the highest praise for their exceptional care and efficiency.
