I am not a person to complain or even write a review but my experience recently at this facility is not sitting well with me. My doctor was nice and kind - this is not a review of her but of the facility as a whole.

I went in for a biopsy procedure. My vitals were taken in a standard patient room but I was told for my procedure I would move into a different room. They took me back to the Procedure Room which was also clearly a storage room. There was a small bed in the middle of the large room with boxes, large storage cabinets, a pile of fans stacked up in a corner, plastic bins, extra trash-cans and all kinda of other things around the room. The vinyl on the sink countertop was falling apart (cosmetic... sure... but I am about to have a pretty uncomfortable and vulnerable procedure and want to feel like I am in a clean and safe space). I didn't say anything to my doctor or nurse at the time, decided to let it go. I likely wouldn't have said anything but then during my procedure another nurse, who was not apart of my medical team, entered the room apologizing that she 'just need to grab something'. I was on the table, legs open, mid procedure and someone I did not know entered the room to get some supplies they needed. There is no privacy curtain, if someone enters the room they have a clear view of my business - my open legs resting on the stirrups. It was a very uncomfortable experience that is absolutely within their control to avoid.

I mentioned to the front desk how awful that room was and they replied 'that's the procedure room'.

I know I can't rearrange an entire office but I can try to save even a single woman from having a similar experience to mine.

It was okay, not terrible but not great. I prefer Cedar Sinai but my insurance changed so I had to come here. It deff feels a bit more run down and the people aren't as nice. Nurse practitioner seemed to have kind of an attitude. It's also May and they still have a Christmas tree up in the office lol, just redecorated in a patriotic theme. Overall just not really impressed.

Dr Anderson delivered my baby. I was a high risk pregnancy and she made me feel comfortable every single visit. While she is very empathetic and listens to you, she is also a no-nonsense doctor and will always be upfront and honest with everything from treatment to delivery, diet and labs.

Some of the negative reviews would be because this health center doesn't play. They are serious with the health of their patients. Dr Anderson was there for every visit and checkup, sent me for extra care when I needed it and delivered my baby safely when he came a little early. I would recommend her 20 times over. She is still the person I trust with my own health.

The negative review baffle me. OB/GYN offices often have to cancel appointments with no notice. Babies are not born on a schedule and if you want your OB there to deliver you have to expect that everyone else does. I had 3 appointments cancelled over 5 months with less than one hour notice, once I was already parking. But guess what... when she had to drop everything and miss appointments on the day of my delivery, I'm glad she did.

I had an amazing visit at this center. Michelle (The ARNP). Was spectacular! She really took care to make me feel comfortable. The doctor who came in to see me was so kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and will definitely return!

The single worst medical experience of my entire life at a time when it was most important. Mey Yip, MD, in particularly, was appallingly bad at addressing my needs during a consultation for surgery and the entire practice should be under investigation for their last minute decision to cancel a biopsy that was a part-time job in and of itself for several months for me to acquire.

I am honestly so perplexed by these negative reviews. I have been a patient of this practice since 2017, starting with an unfortunate miscarriage, then through the pregnancy of my daughter and now with my third pregnancy. Yes, it was initially difficult to get an appointment. It was 100% worth it. There have been times where I have had to wait but all of the doctors at this practice deliver (or try to) their own patients! Birth happens. I’ve seen Dr. Anderson since the beginning of my pregnancy with my daughter and she is incredibly kind, has great bedside manner, and always makes me feel capable and informed. Pregnancy can be scary! The nurses and assistants are all really lovely and the front of house girls are wonderful too. I genuinely missed seeing them after I had my daughter, and I am so happy to be in their care again. Can’t recommend enough.

Dr. Borden is lovely, skilled, and personable. She's a lovely OBGYN who is being let down by her office, especially the business affairs unit.

I've never had to fight so many erroneously coded bills, improper communication with my insurance, and random application of payments across visits months apart.

And I've only been going in for pretty routine stuff. God help me if I'd been going through an expensive or troubled pregnancy or other life event.

Second star is for Dr. Borden, who deserves much better.

But how can you recommend a doctor's office that will require you to spend hours on the phone with poorly trained accounts staff for every other visit?

They've also cancelled appointments on me day-of. Things happen, but on top of everything else, I just had to quit this office for good.

The staff at Providence Women's Health Center - Burbank is caring, compassionate, and attentive!

I am a recent new patient and had a wonderful visit and overall experience. Their office staff was so patient and attentive with my questions regarding insurance coverage as I lined up a new provider. They were also very patient and flexible with rescheduling and followed up via my waiting list request when I was able to get in sooner. I was nervous to go into a clinic due to COVID19 concerns/exposure, but their website as well as staff assured me of their diligence to adhere to safety measure/precautions.
When I arrived, there was plenty of patient parking right away in the parking garage (not validated, but only a couple dollars for the whole visit), I called to confirm I was there in the parking garage (per their instructions--an excellent precaution to avoid people crowding the waiting room) and they checked that my physician was ready for me; since she was running on schedule and ready for me, I was able to head up right away.
The hospital in general was up-to-date, clean, and hardly busy (easing concerns of exposure) and equipped with signs/literature about their COVID19 measures/efforts; there were clear directions on how to find the suite I needed. When I arrived at the Women's Health Suite, I was welcomed with bright smiles--they remembered chatting with me 🙂 and every other waiting room chair was taped off with a sign explaining it was to adhere to social distancing and safety (and there was only ONE other person waiting for only about 30 seconds). I filled out half my form before being called in (SO FAST--about 3 mins!), and was able to complete them electronically on MyChart (I never felt rushed) when in the exam room.

Regarding the care:

The nurse/assistant was very kind and upbeat (seriously kudos to these health professionals in general, but especially during this stressful pandemic!!) as well as VERY helpful with any questions I had.

Likewise, Dr. Borden was fantastic. She answered all my questions and concerns, and made me feel welcome and at ease. I sincerely appreciated how progressive/open-minded she seemed to be with women's health concerns and lifestyle choices. She made me feel so comfortable and grateful I'd chosen (practically at random) her as a doctor. Since my appointment, the nurses I've dialogued with regarding my health and preventative care have also been wonderful.

Overall I cannot recommend this clinic, Dr. Borden, and N.P. Michele Mack enough!
