Wow! I'm so grateful for the staff. Maybe it's the standard In Homer, but I'm surprised how efficient the staff is there and are fantastic people. Wonderful experience.

I would give it 5 stars but just like any of the agencies that help people they are overworked and probably understaffed because there is usually a few people waiting... however if u go early enough you can get lucky. I guess that depends on how much u NEED that help and if u can get a ride.. also be kind to the people who are showing up to help. They are humans too

Way to go State of Alaska. My Mother-In-Law was enrolled and receiving benefits. She passed away on 9/21/23. We notified DPA over the phone and via email on 9/26/23 - we even sent the Death Certificate to you! Yet here it is 10/16/23 and we received a renewal application in the mail for her. The form is dated 10/12/23. How incredibly insensitive for your agency to send this renewal application to us. It seems like competency is lacking in your systems if you allow this sort of error to happen. Someone should look into this.

Tried working with these people, Kimberly Neal is a Fraud who works for this company. She will waste your time, not do follow ups, lose your paperwork and blame it all on you. Do not waste your time with Kimberly Neal, almost everyone else inside of this building is a great person but her.

I feel like they're seriously lacking communication skills at this agency. I have had very few returned calls/emails if they respond at all. It's super frustrating. Not looking for special treatment but communication goes a long way in this type of agency.

Once again they falsify information on desertification even though I had a signed employment statement from my employer ! This was in may and After they denied me because they falsified my income I was told that I had to re apply because they messed up! So I reapplied in the middle of June for food stamps and medical of course I make 200$ over their food stamp limit so I was denied but they had my medical open but processing ! I call again for the 5th time and my new application for June has disappeared ! Keep talking g about my denied case in may but have nothing on my new application in June I had put in ! Looks like more lawsuits needs to happen
