I started to see Dr. Heather and assistant Sam probably about a year and a couple months ago. I was someone who was overlooked when I went to the doctor many times, and told that nothing was wrong. In the duration of being Heather’s patient, my life has gotten so much better. Because of her listening when prior doctors haven’t, I’ve been able to get a lot of things handled healthwise, but most importantly get to the reasoning of why I was so sick. I was able to get a surgery and my life is so much much better now. Thank you, Dr Heather and Sam. I recommend Dr. Heather 100% if you are someone seeking a good and thorough doctor. Despite this clinic can be busy and hectic at times, Dr. Heather cares And does a thorough job to make sure her patients are doing well.

Unfortunately, Monica Wise is no longer with this practice and I have been seeing her for 8 years. When I expressed my concerns to Chrissy at the Front Desk about no longer having a primary provider, being out of medication with no refills and never being contacted about Monica leaving, I was greeted with an incredibly rude and negative attitude. She argued I was contacted months ago to inform me Monica had left but when she told me which number they called, it was my ex-husbands number, who was listed as an emergency contact instead of my personal phone. Then proceeded to argue I missed an appointment 8 months ago I said those arguments are irrelevant as I just need to make an appointment with a different provider ASAP since I am out of refills and need a new doctor. I keep being told they will contact me in a few days to let me know IF another provider will see me. I am assuming they are making it difficult because one of my prescriptions is a controlled substance I take as needed for sleep or before live performances for nerves. Instead of being honest and professional I keep getting the runaround and nobody has returned my calls. I have already found another doctor who saw me the next day, was compassionate, thorough and informative and refilled all my prescriptions same day. Do not waste your time with this unprofessional, disaster of an office.

This place is a disaster. They lose your blood work, don't coordinate care, Donot refill prescriptions and the administrator is rude.bAfter jany problems I have been trying to get my prescription refilled for over 2wks. I am on Medicare Advantsge plan. After being on a 3 way phone care with the administrator and my insurance company it was agreed they would fill me prescription. Now after that lie to my insurance company she sent to my pharmacy I was discharged over 30 days ago with no mention that I have been calling as well as my pharmacy sending over requests for 2 wks. Which I have proof of. Through my insurance and pharmacy. Very unorganized mess. I would not recommend this unclean place to anyone Plus the turnover of employees....wow!! They should be reporeported to Medicare.

Don’t skip a month if your meds and then go in bc they kick you out for a “clean” urine. The APRN doesn’t listen and doesn’t care. Worst place ever since Monica left

My husband has been going here for almost 20 years. He has seen Dr. Velasco, Lynn Myers, Ben Ensell and Monica Wise. Today we found out Monica is no longer with them so we can't see anyone or get prescription refills until they sort out the mess. Every year this place gets worse and worse. Avoid them!!

I have been a patient at QMC for many years, also with my husband before his death. I cannot say enough about the care we both have received from the doctors we have been treated by.
I can say that after the quality care of the doctors QMC falls off the cliff. I do not know what is wrong with the service in the office and I don't think it is my job to know. HOWEVER, many times it has taken days to get a call back (if ever) for an appt. or a script refill. One time it took 5 days to get a script refill for my husband and his medicine was vital to treat all his many problems.
Recently was in to see Lynn Meyer (love her, she never stops caring). I had a complaint about my hand being painful and the hand and fingers were stiff. She sent me for an x-ray and it was determined that I needed to see a specialist. Two months have now passed and I am no closer to seeing a specialist or relieved of pain than the day I went into the office. I call and call and get transferred from person to person and eventually end up with leaving a message that goes unanswered. Yesterday I went in to deal with this issue and the "person", whom ever that is was not in but I left a message which has been unanswered. I told them if I did not hear back I would be in again today but unfortunately I woke up sick so I will be back on the phone as soon as I sent this evaluation.

Its amazing how people can send such scathing comments to a web site and think its ok to lie. Quality Medical Care is a very established medical practice. There are great doctors and practitioners as well as bubbly compassionate Medical Assistants. Its highly unlikely the person stating bad experience is being honest, and more likely that there was a personal issue involved. Dr. Velasco, Dr. Thu, Dr. Win, Dr. Thareja and all the practitioners in Quality Medical Care have very full schedules of returning patients, so dont judge a practice by a bad apple or comment. I love my provider and QMC!
