MY SITUATION
I’ve struggled with sleep-onset and sleep-maintenance insomnia for about 15 years. Prescription medications keep me asleep for about 5-6 hours, but I’d feel much more rested with 7-8 hours. Moreover, I worry that taking prescription medication consistently night after night, year after year is having a negative impact on my health. Several friends and colleagues swear by the power of CPAP-assisted sleeping, so my doctor referred me to ReactDX for an at-home study.

DELIVERY
Score: 5/5
I received the NiteWatch monitor via FedEx two days after my referral. There was no damage to the box and the product was neatly packaged.

BOX CONTENTS
Score: 5/5
• NiteWatch
• O2 Sensor
• Instruction Booklet
• Home Sleep Testing Authorization Form (date/sign)
• Home Sleep Test Questionnaire Form (fill it out)
• Pre-Addressed Return Box with Adhesive Strip and USPS tracking #

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Score: 5/5
The NiteWatch is lightweight and has a soft rubber wristband that is secured with two rounded fasteners. On the body of the NiteWatch there is a USB charging port, O2 sensor port, and ON/OFF button. The NiteWatch arrives fully charged and the instruction booklet advises users not to charge the watch. In addition to the NiteWatch there is a soft rubber O2 sensor. While the NiteWatch face briefly lights up after being turned on, it does not remain on for long. The only light emitted throughout the night is a soft red light from within the O2 sensor. Unless you have the O2 sensor pressed up against your eyeball, it shouldn’t be distracting.

Note: As specified in the instruction booklet, the NiteWatch is designed specifically to detect sleep apnea.

USING THE PRODUCT
Score: 5/5
Easy-peasy — if you’re responsible and read the instructions in advance of your first night using the product. The NiteWatch sends biometric data to your smartphone, which means you will need to download the ReactDX Sleep app to your personal device. The app will ask you to provide just a couple of pieces of personal information like name and D.O.B. There might be some other information I’m forgetting. Information between the NiteWatch and your smartphone is shared wirelessly, so ensure that your Bluetooth connection is on. When you’re ready to go to sleep attach the O2 sensor to the NiteWatch, fix the NiteWatch around your wrist, and slip the O2 sensor ring around whichever finger is most comfortable. I used my ring finger. Keep your smartphone plugged in and charging as the data transmission will slowly drain the battery. In addition, keep your smartphone nearby. I placed mine on my bedside table.

Each morning, after you wake up, use the ReactDX Sleep app to upload the data to ReactDX. Do this immediately so that you don’t forget later.

REACTDX CUSTOMER SERVICE
Score: 5/5
I contacted ReactDX customer service on three occasions: (1) before receiving the product to confirm insurance coverage and estimated cost; (2) to confirm that my data had been successfully uploaded; and (3) to dispute a text message from ReactDX informing me (incorrectly) that I had failed to return to the device. In terms of helpfulness and knowledge, ReactDX customer service did an excellent job. Only one of the customer service representatives sounded like she hated her job, or at least hated doing it early in the morning. Even so, none of the representatives were ever rude to me. The only problem I experienced was receiving a text message informing me that I had not returned the NiteWatch. Fortunately, I had taken a picture of the return box and tracking number, and therefore had proof that the product had been received by ReactDX within the established timeframe. Customer service handled this situation smoothly and politely.

PRO TIPS
• Mark the last return day on your calendar to avoid being charged late fees
• If you leave your bed at night, take your smartphone with you
• Call ReactDX to confirm that your data was uploaded
• Take a picture of the return box and tracking number
• Track the return box and take a screenshot of the USPS “received” screen

I did the Home sleep test with the nite watch , I was so impressed with the size and ease of the test . I downloaded the app on my phone , put the watch on and linked it . It was so easy and comfortable for sleeping. My data uploaded in the morning and my MD had the results in 2 days . Great experience! Highly recommend this test.

Super easy, arrived within days of my phone call. The set up was simple. Tonight will be night 2 of my study. No alarms, no issues connecting, device powered up with 100 percent battery. My results were submitted.

Much like the other reviews, I do not recommend this company. If you have a choice, and you can seek testing elsewhere, please do so. I would stay far away from this place and ask that doctors no longer refer patients here. I have been trying to get proper testing done for three months with no success. Much like others have stated, the sleep testing device is faulty and keeps you up at night with alarms, thus making the results invalid. I called twice while the device was in my possession to seek help with it, to no avail. I was told to send back the device and I would get a new one in the mail. Instead, they processed my “results” and sent them to my doctor. They have not gotten back to me about a new device or a refund even though there is a clear history of me calling for help with the device. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMY TESTING CENTER. DOCTORS NEED TO STOP REFERRING PATIENTS TO THIS PLACE.

Poorly designed unit. Short battery life on the phone, 5 to 6 hours. Bluetooth connection drops in and out. After pressing the symptom button, then trying to input what I was doing at the time and the other info, it timed out and went back to monitoring. Many times while picking up the phone it would start recording. “Lead Setup Results” error messages popping up and other problems.
All around a poor experience.

I hope Kaiser doesn’t keep using Medicomp doing business as REACTDx

Complete Chaos. One second I'm told my profile doesn't exacts, that they have zero record of sending me the equipment. Went back and forth with that for a few days. Then I called and asked if it was ok, told "sure send it back we got all the data". THEN was called and told not to send it back, youre profile is gone again. So much back and forth and mostly me calling to see if they have my data and can return the equipment. I just now got a text saying I will be charged a late fee for still having the device. I called and asked what was going on, and was told "Oh sorry I can't seem to figure out whats going on, so please let us call you back." They read my husbands phone number back to me asking if it was a point of contact. No idea how they even got that AND that doesn't explain how they called me 8 (not kidding) times with different information each time. Im to the point where I am giving up. To have so much BS for something that is supposed to be so simple, is ridiculous. If my date does not get back to my Dr, I will be contacting my insurance company and fighting the charges. This is absolutly a waste of my time.

I still have scars on my chest 30+ days after removing the heart monitor patch to change it as instructed. The doctor aborted the test when I told her about the skin damage but I still had to pay for the 30 days of test results I never received. On appeal, customer service lied about the instructions they gave when I called for help. Now I'm getting emails about the balance owed after insurance paid. Getting involved with this product was a mistake I won't make again.

Spent nearly 2 hours on hold. Came on here and saw all the negative reviews. If I can't get someone on the phone in 2 hours, then the rest of the experience will be the same. After seeing the reviews of faulty machines setting off alarms, I'll be going somewhere else..

Terrible company, would advise you stay away.
