⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of receiving care at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Phenix and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The physical and occupational therapy team, especially Corris, Bethany, and Abram, were outstanding. Their expertise, compassion, and dedication significantly contributed to my recovery journey. They are truly skilled at what they do and made sure every session was as productive as possible.

The nursing staff was nothing short of phenomenal. Their attentiveness and determination to go above and beyond made my stay much more comfortable. They consistently ensured that all my needs were met with a smile, reminding me that a little mutual respect goes a long way in making the healthcare experience positive for everyone involved.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals provided. The dietary team deserves a shoutout for their excellent meal preparations that were not only nutritious but also genuinely tasty.

Overall, my time at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Phenix was well spent. Thanks to the dedicated team of professionals who care deeply about their patients' well-being. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of top-notch rehabilitative care.

Great staff friendly, caring and empathetic with great sense of humor. The dialysis care was great and both nurses was outstanding and the techs was very alert and observing. Even down to the transport team was generous great stay. Only issue cafeteria will never get your order right.

Stayed approximately 3 weeks. The nursing staff and therapists were nice and helpful. Unfortunately on the 7th of October I came back from a doctor's appointment and realized my wallet had been emptied of my cash. All the management said was sorry and nothing they could do but look into it for further issues. Brenda and Melvin were exceptional and I'm thankful for them.

At first, I had apprehensions about an extended stay in the hospital. But after being here these past two weeks, I can honestly say that it has been a pleasure being here. This facility has a staff that is top shelf from top to bottom. The quality of care that I received was first class all the way, and the therapy I received was the absolute best. I will be sure to visit from time to time, and I will recommend Regional Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone needing rehabilitation of any kind.

My mother is a patient at this facility as we speak. She has been experiencing nausea and vomiting from some gastrointestinal problems. I tried to voice my concern to her attending physician about her being a risk to aspirate once she returns home. His response to me was, “if she aspirates, then she aspirates. There’s nothing we can do with her condition”. He then left the room. If you have a family member here and DENNIS HARDEN is the attending physician- politely go up the chain and ask for a different doctor and be sure the new doctor is not his colleague because he’ll just co-sign on whatever Harden says. Harden’s bedside manner is absolutely disgusting. He is dismissive and disrespectful when you ask questions and he appears to have lost all empathy in his field. It’s time to retire.
I have been so disappointed with the treatment from a provider standpoint and I constantly stay because I’m afraid and half paranoid to leave my mom alone with this kind of mentality lurking around the facility with providers. There’s not enough staff to watch the patients if they cannot advocate for themselves. communication and consistency is poor. You have to hunt , call, probe , and really be assertive to get informed about plan of care. Trying to hang on and get her home and do my best for her on my own through other resources.

They physical therapy people were amazing and most of the nurses were amazing as well. They just didn't do enough to make sure my mother was strong enough before she was released.

Suffered a double whammy of stroke and severe sciatica. The nursing care, day and night could not have been more responsive. They paid attention closely to my health and made suggestions and took action to guide me through. After a few days of bowel issues they came and scanned my stomach for a definitive answer to “why was my tummy upset”.I would not be fair to single out anyone without singling out everyone.
The Physical / Occupational Therapy is the heart and soul of the operation. It’s a highly skilled, educated and accomplished team. Collectively they build on each others progress and collaborate consistently. I came here unable to move without excruciating pain, to minimal walking but I know I. have the skills to build on as my back slowly recovers.
I did not need the Speech Therapy, so cannot comment.
In short a great team of caregivers working towards a common goal, you returning to your life.
Thank you, Encompass of Phenix City
