Dr Fisher is a kind and patient person. I have no doubt that she cares about her patients and takes a saintly amount of time with each one, myself being one of them. She’s one of the only docs I have seen since I was young so well over 10 years of being in and out of her clinic. While I’ve done some weighing and consideration for where I am and my priorities, that shouldn’t detract from her. She’s talented, well informed, and passionate. If you want someone who is not afraid to tell you what reality is and what she thinks, go no further. She is a highly effective and motivated doctor. While she’s not a good fit for me and what I need at this particular point in my life, I know she has love in her heart and she freely shows it. Good luck doc.

I have been a nurse for 29 years and I have worked with a lot of doctors and I can tell you that Dr. Fisher is one of the best! She goes the extra mile every time to make sure that her patients and families understand what’s going on in their body and she advocates for them fiercely like she does her own family. She has empathy and integrity that is often missing in this world. She can also have very difficult conversation.

After 20 years of being a patient of Dr. Fishers, I had to leave. The office manager is by far the rudest most insensitive person I have ever encountered. Apparently, Dr Fisher is no longer able to keep up with her work load. I went from feeling very cared for to being just a number. Dr Fisher gave me medicine to try and asked me to call her in 5 days to discuss. I called on Monday and left a message with the office staff, she never returned my call. I called on Tuesday and left message with office staff, she never returned my call. Finally, Wednesday I went directly to the office and asked to follow up with her. Their response was that she was too busy and that I should just follow up with a gastroenterologist instead. Are you kidding me? I explained that I was just following up with her as she requested and the office manager seemed like she could care less. I went on to tear up and tell them that I am still in pain and just really wanted to have the dr call me back. They said they could get me in for another VIRTUAL appointment in 10 days. I said I guess I will have to find another Dr because I can’t wait that long and the office manager told the lady at the window to just “give her the release paper to sign for her file and let her leave”. I was speechless that they were so cold and callous. I have never missed an appointment. I have never been late paying a Bill. I have never complained about the hours I have to wait in the waiting room past my appointment time for appointments. I have been a faithful patient for 20 years. Dr Fisher has yet to reach out to check on me or apologize for the blatant rudeness of her office manager. Instead, I am another person checked off the list so that she can try to keep her head above water in her overbooked practice. I am beyond appalled by her lack of professionalism and lack of care in general for her patients. If you want to be treated as a number and nothing more, go here. If you want compassion and commitment from your dr, go somewhere else!

The quality of Dr Fishers care is a 5. This review is a 3 because the management of the office stinks. I had been going for almost 18 years. She delivered my son. Decided to stop seeing my husband because he hadn't been seen in several years (hes never sick). Dropped him. The wait time is often up to 2 hours. The office staff is snippy and unfriendly. Once we showed up for an appointment to find the office was closed due to inclement weather. No phone call to inform us. Just an empty place.

Dr. Fischer dropped me as a patient after 20 years because I lost my insurance, even though I paid on time for every appointment. When I asked to get a refill of one of my Diabetes medicines to last me until I could afford the expensive lab tests, she refused and sent me a letter letting me know she would no longer be my doctor, citing medical non-compliance, which is a ridiculous lie. After staying with her for so long, enduring the extreme wait times (takes at least two hours after appointment time to see her EVERY time), and thinking she cared about her patients and not just money, this was a horrible heartbreak. Beware of the very rude receptionist, Delores, too.
