This practice is disorganized and not at all personable.

I was a patient at SMG for about 10 months. I saw Kara Birch NP who was wonderful, but unfortunately left after just one year. Despite having had an appointment with her the month she left, I was not notified of her departure from the practice and was not reassigned to another physician. I learned she no longer worked for SMG upon calling today for a prescription refill. I was told my request could not be completed as my provider had left the practice resulting in me no longer being a patient there. When I inquired about being seen by another provider I was informed they are no longer accepting “new patients”. I’d strongly recommend going anywhere else.

I havent been going here long but so far every experience ive had has been annoying. My doctor continously has been messing up and ive had to call back multiple times trying to fix my doctors mistakes. And of course im told by the phone staff that the message will get to my doctor to fix it, and of course it doesnt. So now im calling more to once again try to fix my doctors mistakes. Just annoying and im sick of dealing with it every time.

This doctors office is not personable at all. You have to jump through hoops to see your actual primary care physician. Could not see my doctor when I was sick which made me resort to go to the CVS minute clinic which could see me within 2 hours.

The nurse that took my vitals talked like a robot and asked check list questions. She started to ask me the next question on her list before I even finished answering her previous question. My “physical” consisted of the doctor checking my breathing and abdomen. I did not get checked for reflexes or any of the other basic routine checks in an ordinary physical. I saw my doctor for about 5 minutes and then they sent me on my way.

I would avoid this practice. They can’t get you in when you are actually sick and the appointments that you do try and schedule are all virtual and you have to insist on actually coming in person to be seen by your doctor. Terrible experience.

I have found the staff rude on more than one occasion. They cancelled on me the morning of an appointment after I had already taken the day off and left sub plans. No apology or attempt at rescheduling with another doctor that day. They were just really callous about it.
I feel the same way about the medical staff. When I share what's bothering me it seems like they're looking through me. Like no one actually cares or they think I'm crazy. I'm going to change offices but I'm kinda discouraged at this point. Maybe all offices are like this now? Just all burnt out?

The staff are super rude!! Honestly it's not everyone there. The people in the cat scan department are really nice and the doctors are nice.. But the ones making the phone calls before appointments. And sometimes even the nurses. I will never go there again after today. I have been there for 2 years and every time I have an interaction with them. I am left in complete disbelief.

Dr. Belsky, is very caring and listens to your concerns. She follows up two days later to see how you are feeling. I highly recommend her as your general practitioner.

I am 39 weeks pregnant and not feeling well and I have a fever.I called the foxboro medical group a number of times today to speak to a doctor. No one called me back after they stated 4 times that a doctor will call me back. They are now currently closed and I never recieved a phone call from a doctor. The lack of concern over a patient's health and professionalism is unheard of.

I hadn’t known SMG Foxboro had more than one review listing. Today whilst taking my mother to her new doctor, I overheard other patients discussing their experiences with previous physicians, I wasn’t surprised when my mother commented that it sounded like her former doctor, Irene Belsky (SMG Foxboro), uncaring, incompetent, unwilling to listen to the patient. In my mother’s case Belsky missed a serious infection. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Steward is a bottom of the barrel medical conglomerate and not to be trusted. They employ lousy low grade medical school grads.
