Dr Riad retired and this is not the same office anymore! They don’t return calls, appointments are impossible to book, there never is a live person to talk to when you call and they send texts to current patients about up coming walk in clinics but the hours are never correct. Twice I showed up when there was suppose to be another hour of walk in times and both times I was turned away - they said the text went out wrong when I showed them the text I received with the hours! Then I finally went to one walk in early (text said walk in was from 8-12) and watched them turn away 10 people at 11 am saying the walk in clinic was closed but the text says it’s open till 12. I miss when Dr. Riad was here and this office was run more efficiently. He was the best and so was his staff, but beware it’s gone very down hill since he retired. (But Kathleen the NP is very nice when you do finally get to see her)

I waited over an hour in the waiting room for my appointment. After 30 minutes I asked the front desk when I would be seen for my appointment and she told me I was next before waiting an additional 35 minutes. When I was finally able to see the doctor, he made a comment about me having to go somewhere to be, as if they didn't just waste an hour of my time. He also had no idea what I was even there for, even though he scheduled this appointment for me. Not sure if they don't take patient notes for follow ups or if he couldn't be bothered to read them while I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. I was then billed an exorbitant amount of money for the two minute appointment. I have never been treated this way at any doctor's office before and it's totally unacceptable, will be getting a new pcp asap.

Dr. Mamdouh Riad is an amazing primary care physician who employs a cheerful and friendly staff for his practice near Cape Cod Hospital. He is a skilled and experienced physician in terms of medical knowledge and expertise! He is passionate about his care and considerate to all of his patients by providing not only expert care, but a friendly and competent staff as well. Dr. Riad’s clinical skills are exceptional overall and he dedicates an unbelievable amount of his personal time to be available to healthcare questions and matters 7 days a week! He also provides a weekend walk in clinic once a month! As a Primary Care doctor, his level of availability and attentiveness is truly admirable! An example is: I became very ill with COVID on a weekend in July of 2012, I sent over message to him through his online portal on a Sunday afternoon that I tested positive for COVID-19, he acknowledged my message and sent over a few scripts to my pharmacy in less than 15 minutes! His practice is efficient and timely as well. I have never had to wait any significant amount of time to be taken care of. Dr. Riad is a family doctor who offers a solid level of experience, expertise, and responsiveness rarely seen in the field of Family Practice medicine! God Bless!!!

Newly arriving on Cape Cod, I found it challenging to find a good primary doctor. Fortunately I found Dr, Mamdouh Riad in Hyannis. I was very pleased with my first new patient visit. The Dr, Bob (PA), nurses, and other staff were all efficient, friendly, and professional. The transition from leaving my old doctor to joining this new one was very easy. I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with Dr. Riad and his staff.

Dr. Riad is my primary MD. My experiences have been positive. The staff both clinical & non clinical are professional, polite & proficient. The environment is pleasant & clean. I never have problems making appointments & seen in an acceptable timely manner. Twice a month they offer Saturday morning walk in clinic. Doctor Riad responded to my email while I was in severe pain due to a pulled muscle. One of his excellent staff saw me that morning and prescribed therapy and meds that made an immediate difference. I highly recommend this practice!

I just returned from a visit to Dr Riad’s office precipitated by some unexpected rectal bleeding that came on today. I am overwhelmed by gratitude for having chosen him to be my primary six months ago. And here is why.
I walked into his office in physical distress and was immediately greeted by his new front desk employee, Eileen. She found a time slot to squeeze me in that was only s 20 minute wait. 20 minutes! Walking in off the street. She was kind, compassionate and on the ball in mobilizing the staff to address my acute needs. And I learned she has only been there a week! Wowzers!
Secondly, the supporting staff in that office are amazing. Clara, Cynthia, and Robin were all working in a whirlwind of “busy” and none missed a beat in showing kindness and a genuine concern for everyone there. Double Wowzers!
Thirdly, Riad himself. He made himself available for me on this impromptu visit and gave me as much time as I needed to share the relevant information behind my medical issue, never rushing me. I love that he is unafraid to bring faith and God into any conversation because let’s face it, people, there is SO much in life greater than we can understand. Riad treated me with compassion, suggestions and 2 immediate referrals who contacted me within 1 hour after visit. The prescriptions I needed were texted me by CVS even before I left the visit. Triple Wowzers!
Finally, a staff member named David called me 1 hour after the visit to check in on the referrals and ask how I was. His demeanor over the phone, his questions, his responses, everything…on point! Quadruple Wowzers!
This is an all star team at this practice and I could not be more grateful for having become a patient there.

Follow up visit after a trip to the ER. NP Kathleen Cornell is amazing. This was the first time I met with her. She has a great way about her. She is engaging, energetic, thoughtful, and makes 100% eye contact. She talked to me, not at me. I very much appreciated the frankness of our discussion. Bravo Zulu NP Cornell.

I've known Dr. Riad for a long time. He asked me for feedback on today's visit. I told him the same thing.

If you are looking for a primary care physician, I highly recommend this practice.
