Every single time I come here, I have to wait at least 1/2 hour or more. And right now there is no difference. There are 10 people waiting and only one cashier. I see that others have posted the same issue. Manager apologizes but does nothing about it. I guess since there is only one pharmacy in town, we have no choice but to wait.

Worst Customer Service wait times ! I realize that the possible lack of customer service is due to NOT having enough people to fulfill their customer’s needs. While trying to reach an actual person in the pharmacy, the phone rang for over a half an hour. I hung up and drove there (half an hour away from my home) The people who are working in the pharmacy are all very nice and hard working. I really just think they are Short staffed. This is up to the corporations to hire enough people to manage the needs of their customers.

How is it possible for this place (the pharmacy) to be slower than the DMV? Every single time I am in there, the line is extremely long. If you have small children don’t even bother coming in and trying to stand in line. It’ll take all day. I would rather drive to San Luis Obispo and go to Costco than come here. I was in recently bc I needed Mucinex D and didn’t want to drive. I should have…. Ridiculous.

Avoid the store at all costs. Shelves are nearly bare and have been for a few months.

I waited in line 35 minutes yesterday just to reach the perscription counter. They couldn't find my order even though I had received notification that it was ready for pick up. It took them 15 minutes to realize they had mis-filed it.

I returned today since another perscription was ready. The line was 27 people deep and wrapping around the inside of the store. I left without picking up my perscription.

Morro Bay is a small town only about 9000 residents. It's not like there are a lot of people here. It is ridiculous that this store is poorly stocked and inadequately staffed. I will be transfering my perscription to a pharmacy in San Luis Obispo or Atascadero. It will take less time to pick up my persriptions include the hour long round trip drive than waiting in line in the Morro Bay store.

Give it up. Worst pharmacy and stocked store in the area. People go who can't drive the distance to other pharmacies. In our small town this pharmacy should be a breeze to go to. Pharmacy wait times before and during the counter and the shelves are EMPTY.

The only pharmacy in town (because Riteaid bought out locally owned and operated Morro Bay Drug & Gift--just to close it) is sad.
There is more booze and chips options than there anything for your wellbeing, all of which you can get nextdoor at Albertsons.

It seems like whoever is in charge of stocking shelves is focused on seasonal decorations, makeup and junk food than what our community really needs.

Seriously neglected. Could do so much better. Our community deserves better.

Called ahead to book our flu shot and Covid shot. We still had a 45.minute wait. The line to pick up prescriptions has 5 or more people constantly. If service is this slow I would hope they would hire another person. I plan to find another place for my vaccines in the future.

Made an appt a week ahead of time for PREVNAR 20 vaccine. Received numerous text messages and emails reminding me of my appointment. I show up 5 minutes early for appt and am told they don't have the vaccine and to come back later. Rite Aid HAS MY PHONE NUMBER and could have called or texted to let me know before I adjusted my schedule and made a trip down there for nothing. There is no excuse for this poor customer service.
