A brilliant store with a great selection of high quality, fresh and local produce, at a price definitely worth it for the quality.
Great selection of prepared food as well.
However, what I like the most about this store is the generous selection of tasters available! Probably at least 5 at any one time.

It's fine. The people who work at the meat/fish counter are always super friendly. It's nice that it's more spacious than the one in Northampton. I'd love a self check out for the introverted shopper, especially because upon checking out, it's like you have to answer the bridge troll's 3 questions: Are you a member? Do you want to round up for the cause of the week? Do you want a receipt? A bag? If a train leaves Northampton at 10 a.m., does it ever arrive in NYC? No? OK. That'll be $500 for a peanut.

I appreciate having a store close by that has a lot of local/organic options, but I find I need to pay very close attention to the expiration dates on things here, specifically the dairy, as it often expires within a couple days of purchase. I also wonder if there is some issue with their refrigeration, as I’ve purchased dairy on several occasions that had a sell by date that was not approaching, but the dairy was spoiled (I’ve noticed this with both yogurt and milk).

Other than that, I appreciate their selection and love supporting local. The employees can be extremely helpful and kind, though there are often cashiers who don’t even bother to help bag- even when I’m clearly very pregnant and struggling to reach for items, I have had to ask for assistance many times and when I do, they tend to seem very annoyed. However the employees who are stocking items, working the counters and the people working the registers later in the evening are almost always wonderful and extremely helpful/kind.

Prices are high, but there's a great selection of products! And I really like that their Food For All program, which is very helpful to those who are eligible. All the staff I interacted with seemed friendly and were helpful in giving directions or answering questions. And as a disabled person, I also loved how many workers wore masks. One cashier even had gloves. I really appreciated that and it made me feel safer shopping there in person!

Has to be one of the worst places I have ever worked and shopped in. A upper management team (Rochelle, HR, and higher up management that’s not at a store department level) that is out of touch with reality. Over priced goods that you can get for a fraction of the cost at other retailers. They put on a good show for owners and customers but if you really knew what was going on inside these walls many owners would be shocked. It’s all about profits and control and not about helping the local community or staff that lives in the community. Many good people work here and are treated unfairly. It was like having to constantly watch over your shoulder for what was going to happen next.

ALL financial records aren't actually made available to the supposed "owners". If it really was community owned then they wouldn't only present everyone with water downed financial records. We want ALL financials! Every single financial record involved. How do we know that employees are even being treated equal?!?! We don't have access to those financial records. For all we know the people in charge are paying themselves millions each year, but somehow, we're the owners?!?! If it walks like a scam and talks like a scam, it's a scam.
