the worst!!! the orthopedic office!!! front desk and surgery part of the main hospital as well as phlebotomy section is amazing until i reached the second floor for the orthopedic office!! i’ve been coming here for years with the same knee problem. they kept taking xrays (even with a history of partial meniscus tear) and giving me steroid shots and said i was fine, but i was still in pain!
my neurologists from loma linda finally ordered an MRI to now i have torn muscles, torn meniscus, cysts, and osteoarthritis! thanks moreno valley riverside university health orthopedic office, you’re so…!!! i've gone to another orthopedic office! i don’t know why i was referred to this one in the first place! there was only one white medical assistant lady who pronounced my name with the correct letters, thank you! appreciate it! but other then her and one guy medical assistant at the front desk in the ortho office. the rest of the staff in the ortho office is rude and childish. TRASH!! thanks for nothing!!! o and b careful taking stitches out. one pa used the thickest scissors for taking them out. it hurted soo much! i just didn’t get her name. short mexican lady.

I’ve got one word for this place: WHOA. This medical center is HUGE—like, "bring a map and a Sherpa" huge. If you’re into urban exploration, just visiting this campus might fulfill your adventurous spirit. Seriously, I got lost twice on my way to the radiology department. But hey, at least I got my steps in for the day! 🏃‍♂️📍

Now, let’s talk about the important stuff: the care. The doctors and nurses here? Top-notch. They’re not just good at what they do—they’re friendly, patient, and actually listen to you (rare combo, right?). Shoutout to Dr. Amazing-Who-Fixed-My-Problem (you know who you are) and Nurse Smiley, who made the whole experience as smooth as a freshly paved highway. 🩺✨

Cleanliness? It’s like the place has a personal vendetta against germs. Every corner of this sprawling medical metropolis sparkles. I half expected to see someone polishing the doorknobs with a toothbrush. 🧽✨ A+ for hygiene, y’all!

Parking? Surprisingly not a nightmare for a place this massive. But let’s be real—you still might need a golf cart to get from your car to the front door. Pro tip: Leave breadcrumbs if you're not great with directions. 🚗➡️🏥

The only downside? Trying to find your way around. The signs are helpful, but with a campus this size, it’s still easy to end up wandering into the cafeteria when you’re looking for the pharmacy. (Not complaining, though—the food smelled amazing.)

So if you’re looking for expert medical care in a spotless, state-of-the-art facility with a side of cardio (walking the halls counts!), this is the place for you. Just pack some snacks and maybe a compass. 🧭🍎

The front office staff in the Orthopedic Surgery is very rude and untrained. Came into the office today on 10/31/23. The front staff had no idea and wasn’t able to understand how to fill out EDD PFL paperwork. Which is required for patients to obtain leave or care while disabled through the state. How are you not trained on state programs for patients. Arrived at 10 am and took one full hour to fill out Part D for Physicians. Not only was she incredibly rude to me. Both front office women at the check in were very rude and not friendly to every patient that came to check in. The staff was just sitting chit chatting and on their cell phones. Not until they had higher ups come in to observe their work efficiency did they actually start acting like they were doing their job. I work in the medical profession and would never speak or treat any patients in the manner these two woman treated every patient. Management needs to seriously do a proper training with these two women. Kindness and respect should be your first priority especially at the front desk as they set the tone for a patients experience.

Had one of the worst experiences ever with orthopedic specialist, Dr. Brittany Woodall. She has terrible patient care and doesn’t care about her patients being in pain whatsoever. My mother was seen by this doctor following her finger amputation accident. She attempted to remove the stitches without a nerve block even though we requested a nerve block and my mom was literally screaming in pain. she was being so aggressive with my mom, telling her to stop resisting from moving her hand when she was in excruciating pain. She then progressed to administer a nerve block which she did so with a 22 gauge needle (this is a very thick needle, she very much so could’ve used a 27 gauge or 30 gauge needle to make my mom feel more comfortable as the doctors in the ER did when they administered a nerve block to stitch her finger up, on the day of the accident). We also requested for a thinner needle to be used so that she doesn’t feel as much pain but she denied the request. She stabbed the injection into the finger and my mom screamed so loud that I heard her down the office. This woman is absolutely terrible and I highly recommend avoiding making any appointments with this person. I don’t understand why people like her become doctors when they don’t care for their patients or feel any empathy towards the pain that their patients are experiencing. It’s common sense that any accident that involves the amputation of a limb is going to be extremely painful and traumatizing. She did not make my mom feel comfortable whatsoever. She was rough, rude, aggressive, and incompetent.

First off let me start by saying that I believe the people that work here don't want to be here. Staff at Registration as well as nurses and Doctors seem very irritated that people are there. I seriously can't understand why it's so widespread. The only staff in the Hospital that has been cordial with me is the Pharmacy and that was every time i dealt with them. Pretty interesting to me that it's easy to get prescriptions but hard to get the real help you really need and that takes months and by the time you get the help you need your situation has deteriorated. I switched my PCP because i just didn't want to deal with them anymore. Anyways i had to write this just to vent i guess. Thanks for reading.

This review is actually for the Walk In Clinic as it is attached to the building located outside the doors of the surgery building. The Walk In Clinic opens at 11am and you are not allowed to sign in or stand in line until 11am. So if you get there early then you have to wait and if other people come way later than you then good luck with them trying to been seen first before you even though you were there way ahead of them. The APs on duty do their best to try and rush you out of the building and dont even try to listen to your concerns or give you the time of day to hear about your medical issues. They want to make sure they spend as little time as possible with you as a patient. Only reason why I had to come to this location was that my primary doctor was all booked up and it was a medical issue that needed to be seen right away. I would not recommend this location to be seen for your medical issues, try Kaiser which is down the street from here. Terrible customer service and terrible APs and nurses.
