Dr. Rubinchik and his office people are so great, they did what other dentist didn't wanted to do, no other dentist wanted to see my daughter due to her needing root canal and her being young, but he did an amazing job! His office people do what they can do help you out on explaining everything about your fees. Love this place and their people!

Dr. Rubinchik and his staff are the BEST! I first went to them a year ago with an emergency tooth problem. Dr. Rubinchik not only took care of that tooth with a root canal and crown, but has since replaced two other crowns. His work is impeccable! He's fast, careful and knows exactly what he's doing. I feel so fortunate to have found him and his conscientious, helpful and friendly staff. And did I mention that his prices are the best in the area? Well they are! So top-level work and excellent prices. Again, I am so pleased to have found them!

I have been seeing Jay Cohen for at least 5 years. I know there
is no such thing as "painless" dentistry but at Rubinchik Cohen it's as
close as it gets. I have complete confidence in them and will continue
to see them for anything I need.

Update: nothing has changed, Rubinchik Cohen dental care is still the
best without a doubt!

My last visit was like all the others, no (or minimal) pain.The hygienist,
Huong, is absolutely wonderful. Again very minimal pain with the teeth
cleaning and she is so nice! Even though it is a bit of a drive for me I will
continue to see Jay and company.

I could not recommend a better dentist or dentist's office than Rubinchik
and Cohen. I will continue to see them and anyone with dental questions or problems should see them as well.

Update- 1/2020 Still the best! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Update- 2/2020 Had to go in for some cavity and teeth repair. While on the chair I heard laughter in the chair next to me! No such thing as painless dentistry but R&C comes as close as you can get.

I have been under orthodontic treatment for 2.5 years at Rubinchik Cohen Dental, currently with my third orthodontist due to the turnover there. Every time I surprisingly found that I have a new orthodontist when I showed up for my appointment, and I was treated with orthodontists with less and less experience. It appeared to me that these orthodontists didn't communicate about my treatment during transitions, because they have different treatment plans (and in my opinion, wrong treatment) for me. The lack of treatment continuity and the lack of quality treatment not only significantly lengthened my treatment and wasted my time, but more importantly, caused harm to my teeth (bone loss and gum recession). Right now my teeth are in a much worse shape compared with 2.5 years ago.

Lessons learnt: (1) I am wondering what patient's rights are in this case? Shouldn't we be notified with a change of dentist in advance? Shouldn't we have a say in if we accept the new dentist with less experience? (2) For orthodontic or periodontal treatments, go to specialty offices instead of a general office with dentists who lack regards for patient’s well-being, lack a sense of responsibility and accountability, and lack experience. (3) If anyone else has the same experience at this office, please contact stevensryan2020 AT gmail. (4) For any concern and to protect patient’s rights, patients can consult the Dental Board of California.

I was really happy with the service I received here. The front desk team are really friendly and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in and Dr. Rubinchik is fast, professional and explains everything he's doing so you're not left wondering. My options were explained to me regarding a dental procedure I need and walking out after my appointment I felt very satisfied with the overall experience. Highly recommend!

It's refreshing to see that Dr. Rubinchik and the staff understand the true concept of customer service and quality patient care. In today's world we are seeing less and less service and more of a assembly line dentistry. Having Dr. Rubinchik treat me and my family has been a true blessing. The quality of his work in the chair side manners have been impeccable. I would recommend, and have recommended him to all my friends and families.

Theres 2 things i hate the most and its sad but true you only call them when you need them and thats a Dentist and the Police.

But today my fear of dental work is no more, i had 2 extractions today and it was the most painful but easiest process i have ever experienced. Dr.Rubinchik and his assistant did an amazing job with my extractions. He was beyond professional and remained calmed even when i was moving around nervous and not staying still. I highly recommend this Dental Clinic and the staff did an excellent job on keeping me updated with my appointment and paperwork.

Great location if your coming from 101 or 280 its right off Woodside road in the heart of Redwood City.

I have been receiving a bill in the mail for about six months from them that I already paid. Just yesterday some office worker named Reyna tried to charge me the bill over the phone when I spoke to her. I told her I already paid it, I think I paid it twice because it kept coming in my mail. She looks and says oh yes you did pay. I paid that bill 2 times and she tried charging again a 3rd time. They need a new office manager or better training! I like the dentist but the office staff are not very competent.
