After explaining my abusive and neglectful past my psychiatrist (I believe it was dr pie) straight up told me im lucky because I have food and a roof over my head where other people in other countries dont. I literally didnt have a bed to sleep in or food to eat as a kid. This is so rude and invalidating and inconsiderate to say to someone. This doesnt help anyone but make them not want to talk about their trauma or ask for help. I will not be coming back thanks a lot.

I've been seen.. via telechat twice, been misled, told I'm wrong for how I feel, lied to, put the entire blame on me. Now, I'm once again contemplating ending the pain and suffering that's been thrown back at me, and I have no recourse. I will never again use this service. They've only reiterated my lack of self worth and value. They are there for paychecks and send you to unsafe locations at your most vulnerable state of being.. I sincerely believe that Death is a better option than being belittled and judged. It only adds to my resolve.

I took my daughter to mental health crisis for bi polar. The staff is very nice and supportive. They asked me to take my daughter to ER for medical attention before being seen at crisis. ER doctors at St Joseph's hospital gave her anti anxiety meds and released her. I took her home. About a half hour later, after returning home, Stockton Police knocked on my door asking to talk to my daughter. It was a wellness check on behalf of Mental health crisis. I am grateful for their concern and making sure my daughter was doing alright. Thank you so much 🙏❤️ I can never say how appreciative I am. 🫶🕊

Rudeness. Disability Discrimination.Indifference.Warmline/Crisis hangs up the phone on people while demanding "engagement". They get paid when the phone rings not when they actually help someone.

My experience there was lovely they cared and gave attention to each individual on their own path thru recovery. The contractors from activities to reconstruction and cleaning services were all lovely I was a patient there for a psychosis episode and they were able to stabilize my chemicals and provide me adequate care but what I truly enjoyed about the center was the help. It was remarkable to see everybody work in unison and to see the patients get cured one at a time I personally saw 4 move on before it became my time. I hope this center continues to get adequate funding. Thank you team and thank you Dr Robinson.

*update* it’s been 4 years since my stay and I’ve been in an upward trajectory in person progress I’ve been finally 10 months free from my addiction that led to the psychosis in 2020 and I’ve landed a full time job at my company that I was a temp at and I am handling my bills and rent and it all stemmed from seeking help when help was needed and San Joaquin County Behavioral was the catalyst and a pivotal moment in my recovery. I hope they remain a pivotal halfway point between the people needing help and recovering. Thank you again 🙏 5.25.2024

When i first moved out here in 2019 i called and some lady answered and was very rude, asked me what medications i take and said well drs over here don't give out those meds and that was it. I thought wow this is how the mental health services is out here. That's just sad. Really miss my old dr in the bay area he was amazing! So that call steered me away from this place for many years and i just figured i have to do without and that sucks. 3yrs later i thought id try again because ive had anxiety since middle school im 36 now. So i called today, I haven't seen a dr yet. But when i called the girl was nice and respectful and since i was a new patient had to transfer me to the call access line to go thru the process first which its like that everwhere when you have medical. I'll do an update when i actually do see the dr and see how I'm treated and the staff etc.

Terrible place.They are like most county run places,they take hours to do what really only takes 30-45 minutes to do,they make you jump through hoops to get simple help,they won't help you with needed medication if you have smoked marijuana recently,they don't care about your situation or the difficulties they are putting on you. It seems that to them you're just a number trying to scam them somehow It takes more hours at the pharmacy,even when there's no line. From my experiences you're better off going elsewhere to get quality service in an understandable amount of time.
I've only been to the crisis stage of it. Did not receive the needed medication,took many hours,and I wasn't treated very well at all.I vowed never to return.I worked on the grounds for about 15 months and heard and saw oodles of similar complaints.They need to come off their high horse and treat clients as if they were important enough to do their jobs well for. Not to be treated any old way.

If we could give negative we would. After getting a referral for their services and filling out everything they took over 3 months to even follow up. Missed 6 apt no call no shows. Then took 2 months to send a case worker to home to evaluate. After being told it would be 2 weeks for report it ended up being 4 months. Once getting a pbs worker and was informed of the incompetence from bhpn they proceeded to do the very same things. What a shame. Between me and 4 kids one in kindergarten one in preschool two at home still and another in the way they jerked our time around like lose change. Ended up pulling my kids from their programs and that even took 2 months and several phone tags to tell them over and over why. This place is a joke and beyond a time consumer that no one has time for. But the real kicker was they wanted to train me to do their job for teaching my son the proper ways for things because Covid meant they can’t be in person so I have to do their job. Miss me with that. I’ll just keep doing what any good parent does without them doing their job. Smh. This place is trash. My insurance was being charged for services we never got. They were not happy to hear this.
