Every time I go to this location my doctor is very helpful and nurses are nice and friendly I will say as for the receptionists in the front it’s a hit or miss sometimes but they’re overall doing their job. Nurses who do blood work are overall nice and professional. I would highly recommend Dr.Morton to anyone who’s looking for a new doctor. Scripps always manages to ensure you have the best care they truly do listen to every concern and are professional.

I've had a chronic issue for well over a year. Only two people in that entire facility have been helpful and respectful. If you have serious chronic issues DON'T go here. I've had their health care providers accuse me of sleeping with multiple partners and that's why I'm getting sick when in reality it's a genetic autoimmune issue! I have never experienced such unprofessionalism, so to my ladies with chronic issues...find a better location.

Update: I've called them MULTIPLE times explaining how people in their office call me telling me different information. I called again to understand what's going on with this discrepancy and my call was never answered!!!

I have never seen a medical team care less about a patients health then Scripps San Marcos. Terrible help for those with chronic issues

What is the purpose of e-check in for? I made the online "on my way" appointment. One hour later, I'm still waiting to be called. Every one else has been called, but me. I should have just walked in and probably would have been seen faster.

Ever since this center is open, my whole family have been going there for flu vaccines and any minor illnesses that we can just walk in without waiting to see our physicians. So far we have been very pleased with the services that the center staff provide. I have read some negative reviews here and I can understand that some patients didn't feel that they were given the care they deserved or they got over charged for a simple visit. Please know that they are just like us, they work hard to take care of patients, they get sick and burned out. Please be mindful and understanding!

I would give it a zero star. Absolutely bad experience, please don't go visit health express if you have other choices. My daughter has been with primary doctor at Scripps for years. When we visited the health express, she was billed as new patient and significantly overcharged! We paid the bill without looking into details of the code they misused. We asked the insurance company to look into that, the explanation is the visit is too long (too long waiting in the check room) so that they have to find a way to charge extra money for that. The billing department explained that because my daughter was first time seen at health express and defined as new patient by their definition. Still fighting for that!

Terrible health express. Had an appointment and was told to come back in an hour and ten minutes with my very sick 10 year old so the doctor could take a lunch. Instead of honoring the appointment. Front desk lady was rude too.

THIS place is an ABSOLUTE joke I can't even believe its considered a doctor office. The workers are rude from the front staff to the nurses. Nurse doesn't like me so walked in and saw it was me asked the other girl to do my vitals instead it was so obvious. I haven't had any health problems till this year so I now know how awful it is dealing with this.. I Waited two months for my primary to come back from medical leave only to be told she is quitting I could have spent that time looking for a new primary care with what is going on with me. Now they are booking out till April. So many misunderstandings and ZERO compassion. Sad. I can advocate for myself but I feel bad for elderly people who have to go here.

This was possibly the best doctor experience I've ever had. The concern, care, and explanation of my situation by Dr. Chappell and the medical staff was exceptional.
