Dr. Karimi is a very professional and very helpful person as a doctor and as a person, helping me and my children to be in a better place.
the front staff and the other therapists that work for his office are also very professional and always stay on top of my case. I definitely recommend Dr. Karimi to anyone who has problems with an ex partner who doesn’t allow you to see your children even with court orders in place.

SCV Counseling is an absolute disgrace. From the moment I arrived for my initial intake interview at 6 p.m., I was greeted by someone who seemed more like Dr. Karimi’s lover than a professional assistant—an unsettling and highly inappropriate start. Dr. Karimi blatantly went back on every promise he made during our first meeting and failed to follow court-ordered guidelines for my children, all while hiding behind so-called “insurance restrictions.”

To make matters worse, he tried to pressure me into unnecessary anger management classes, clearly in an attempt to exploit my insurance for financial gain. This wasn’t about helping my family—it was about padding his pockets. His unprofessional and deceptive practices are beyond appalling. It’s clear he tells you what you want to hear to get you in the door, only to manipulate and drain your insurance after you’ve enrolled.

I will be contacting my insurance provider to investigate how many other families have fallen victim to his greed. Avoid SCV Counseling at all costs if you value your time, and family.

I needed to Reunify with my son who was in my ex-wife's custody. When I presented the attorneys and the MC with Dr. Karimi, they all agreed he is one of the best. Alexander has been such a big help to me in the past 3 months I was a shut in for awhile and have had horrible anxiety and and panic attacks but with help I've been able to go out more and my depression has gone down he's by far has been one of my favorite therapist and has been such a big help if u want someone who helps push you out of your comfort zone and meet a guy who is really kind and tries to help you when you need it then I highly recommend him
