Avoid this doctor! This doctor is not safe. I went in for a bad fall and pain. She had zero bed side manner and was pushy. She did not ask my story and why I’m having pain. She said I have osteoarthritis from X-rays. I know this. It causes pain. Also aware. But when you cannot sleep from new pain, because you FELL, something might be going on! The walkin clinic said to make an appointment with her even though I was in acute pain. I had to wait a month! Then she would not address all pain. Explain that when you make appointments. She barely did a physical examination and she completely disregarded my hip or that I’m having extreme pain. She actually said, “your hip isn’t the problem!” How do you know that? Wow! She said I have fluid on my knee and why haven’t I started physical therapy yet. Uh I do it everyday! I’m injured. She quickly touched my right leg, said she was going to drain fluid and give me a cortisone shot and I should be fine. The procedure was painful. She didn’t tell me exactly what she was doing and it seemed kind of not the safest, cleanest practice. Then she seemed worried I was crying. Like ya you hurt me and were rude. Be more person centered. Be more trauma informed. Give your patients time to understand all options. To look at X-rays with you. To be part of their plan. She spent 10 minutes in all on me. I’m 43 and I’ve had multiple surgeries and injuries and I’m proactive in my care. Do not let any medical professional ever push you around. And make calls after if you feel your care was subpar. We all deserve way better! Also, look up their reviews before making the appointment!

I would not recommend this provider for those with chronic pain or illness. Dr. K was incredibly confusing to work with due to her contradictory statements. She was dismissive of my questions and judgmental towards my mobility/pain aids. She provided me incorrect information and her claims were based off x-rays I had gotten over a year ago. She made me feel terrible about how I advocate for myself and how I exist in the world. She made me question my own experiences in my own body. I do not think doctors should be ableist to those who need assistive devices and they certainly should not tell them they are harming themselves by using such help. The front staff was wonderful as well as the nurse that did my intake, so I do thank the other staff working there.

I was billed over $200 for a shot I didn’t get. They were slow to bill and even slower to respond to my repeated requests for correction, running out the clock. They would not correct the bill and insisted I got the shot. I think I would know. I ended up paying the bill to avoid collections and shouldn’t have. Read your bills carefully and contact the atty genrl if they do not fix errors. Nobody was helpful and I wasted a lot of time trying to get them to fix their error. I suggest avoiding this Dr. and probably the whole practice completely. Inaccurate at the best, sketchy at the worst.

Dr. K was incredibly dismissive about a flare up of joint pain/dysfunction issues that I have dealt with for the past decade. She spent very little time actually assessing my knees. I felt like I had to try and convince her of my issues that I have literally had to have surgery for as a teenager. I practically had to beg her to get one MRI and she seemed annoyed about it too. A truly disheartening experience and very telling of the problems in the healthcare system of this country. If you are a patient with chronic pain, go elsewhere.

Dr. Kuchinskas was able to order x-rays of my shoulder and review them at the beginning of the visit right in their facility. She then reviewed them with me in terms I could understand, moved my arm around to confirm her diagnosis and clearly explained the problem and her suggested treatment. She seemed professional, knowledgable, patient and thorough. I felt I was in good hands.

Dr K was cold, dismissive and unempathetic. This was my third time coming in for the same issue and for the third time i was told there’s nothing wrong with me when i am having trouble with my daily activities. When i asked her if she cannot help me where can i go, she said “i don’t know where to send you”
Being in chronic pain for 5 years you’d expect your provider to show you some empathy and treat you with compassion, Dr K was the exception to that, please revisit your bedside manner and your attitude.

My appointment was rushed and even though we set an appointment for an injection for our right hip, we left lacking in confidence that our xray was diagnosed correctly. The xray results we read from CDH gave the impression that our hip pain was based on bilateral femuracetabular impingement. It is worse in right hip. FAI causes as arthritis if it is not treated. Dr Kuchinskas said it is arthritis. We had no arthritis pain in this hip prior to a single incident climbing a steep hill. Literally had no pain in this hip before. Adding to the concern of the diagnosis, the person we saw prior to meeting suggested an xray of the left hip. We have no pain in this hip. We pointed out that the xray we had said the left hip also impacted by FAI to a lesser degree. So we wondered if we needed to call our primary doctor to see if we need a new referral. We set an appointment to get the injection because it is the least invasive procedure to resolve the pain. We looked at the reviews other patients gave. Many were very positive. Others were like my experience. We are a trauma survivor and this was not a great experience for me.

I was very pleased with my recent visit with Dr. Kuchinskas. She was prompt, pleasant and thorough with her examination of my fracture and explained what the x-rays revealed, assuring me that the healing process is where she expected it to be at this point in the healing process.. She took the time to answer questions and concerns that I had and I walked away with a thorough understanding of the continuing treatment plan and what to expect. I would highly recommend Dr. Kuchinskas.
