I was pleasantly surprised that in the Sacramento area there is such a hospital! It was very comfortable, with good competent doctors! We did not have to wait long in line, we quickly got to see the doctor, where our baby was examined and given the result and the next appointment was scheduled!

Oh My GOD!

They provided exceptional experience for patient treatments. Communication - as to where to go, what to expect, and exactly how long it would take - was on point! Free parking at the front of the facility, side streets and the building next to this facility was a dedicated free parking. The time it took to go to the clinic, x-rayed, and schedule our fall up appointment took less time than its taking me to write this review.

I cannot state enough how impressed I have been with the love and care we have been met with at Shriners Children's Northern California. From our first initial appointment when my son was 6 months old to now when he had his orthopedic surgery on his toe, I have been floored with the quality of medical care and compassion this hospital has shown. From the front desk receptionist/ check-In, to the cast technician, to the nurses who helped us when our son had to go under deep sedation for surgery (who teared up and gave us hugs and support), to another nurse who came out and checked on us and gave us a progress report when our son was under, to the OUTSTANDING doctors, Dr. Whitaker (our lead doctor, and one of the kindest, most incredible doctors I've ever met), Dr. Sinclair and Dr. Chow (whom worked with us to find a solution when our child couldn't go under general anesthesia), to the post-op nurse Blair, to nurse Lovepreet (my medical BFF who has always, always taken care of us ) to PA Parrot... literally everyone has been not only informative but just patient and kind.

I tear up with gratitude every time we visit this facility.

I strongly recommend Shriners Children's Hospital of Northern California for any kind of medical care for your child. I have experience with medical professionals and hospitals and this facility is above and beyond in every way.

This hospital is one of the best I've been to. It's beautiful, clean, and the staff is really caring and takes the time to explain everything. The only annoying thing was checking in because it took forever, but I guess that's because it was our first time there. Other than the long wait to register, everything else was great. We definitely recommend this hospital!

We had such a lovely experience here. My then 7 year old daughter worked with 4 different specialists, and each one seemed kinder than the last. Dr. Ichbal is absolutely amazing, and Child Life was a godsend after my daughter had a horrible experience at Mercy San Juan. They never pushed her and were so patient and respectful of her past experience. Thank you all for what you do!!

Good hospital for children, they give us a lot of attention, the service is responsible and good organized, doctors did their work very quickly and great , so thankful to them!!!! Oh I forgot about surprises for kids, my daughter was so happy,thank you!!!

TERRIBLE.
Waited around 6 months for an appointment with Orthopedics, and they called me like a week or so before telling me to call and reschedule it...but NEVER ANSWERED, OR REPLIED TO VOICEMAILS.
I've called with different phone numbers, different times/days...didn't receive a call back until I cancelled the appointment (the day before my actual appointment, because of no answer)...which was weird. I wonder how much money they get for "no shows", because they don't want to answer.
If they can’t even care enough to answer the phone, how can we expect them to care enough for the patients?
Go somewhere else for Orthopedics!

I was a patient at Shriners Children's Northern California from 2 weeks old to 17 years old. I have talipes calcaneovalgus of the right foot and juvenile idiopathic scoliosis. I went through serial casting and bracing for my foot. I wear a brace for my scoliosis for 13 months. I had two awesome doctors Dr preston James now deceased and Dr Joel Lerman. I'm forever grateful for shriners children's northern california
